This item worked perfect on my stereo, your stereo practically uses the factory mounting brackets and this item basically mounts on to the sides of your stereo to cover the gap that is left open on both sides of stereo to make it seamless. I used it on an 2006 Scion XB

Best Buy auto stereo shop in Mission Valley did a great install of a Pioneer touchscreen double-DIN in my Scion. This kit made for a sturdy install in my dash -- totally sturdy! No vibration at all and deck doesn't move when I control it with the touchscreen

The kit ordered for my car didn't actually fit. This one swapped out by the tech guy worked and saved the day. My wife who mainly drives the 2016 nissan quest van this was used for stated she likes how it looks like the pioneer deck belongs there. So I'm happy with the results.

My 17 year old car radio stopped working a few weeks ago. Rather than repair it, I decided to replace it with a modern system. The Metra - Dashboard Radio Installation Kit - Black was the perfect accessory needed to ensure the smooth installation of my radio (also purchased at Best Buy).

The install kit worked perfectly. The only thing is that it should be made clear on the packaging that you need to reuse the stock stereo brackets! I got lucky I had not tosed my old, non functioning stock radio. Had I not still owned it, I don't know how I would have gotten this radio in as they give you no other optional brackets to use if you don't have your stock radio still.

No real directions with this, but you don't need them. They slide in next to your new head unit. I had to trim them a bit so they would clear the mounting brackets on my 2003 and 2006 Highlanders, but that was easy enough. Happy with the outcome.

Got this install kit along with my pioneer Android Auto/Apple CarPlay - Bluetooth - In-Dash CD/DVD/DM Receiver. Made the install smooth, simple and easy on my Scion XB. Looks good.

I bought this adapter set for my 2004 Toyota Highlander Limited so I could install a double din Kenwood stereo system and it worked perfectly! It was easy to install and filled the gaps nicely and with no space leftover. Great fit!

This must be a part of the install kit. I Can't see it and can't say if I've seen a better or worse one before, just know right now my radio is jamming and stays in place as I drive...so I'd have to bet its doing a great job!

The adapter was needed for the double din pioneer Bluetooth receiver in my 2006 Toyota Tundra. It fits perfectly and gives a factory appearance and finish.
