I wanted to install this unit in my 2008 Pontiac G6 hard top convertible with a Kenwood double din GPS stereo. The unit works as designed, but I had no idea the size of the display. It is huge. I had really hoped to set up the display above my windshield close to my convertible top button, but that was just impractical. There is a single din option available, so if you want to install the display anywhere but your console or glove box, then I do not recommend this item. I really miss simple things like the estimated mileage left on my tank since the display is mounted in my glove box. The dimensions of the display in inches are: 7 3/4" across, 2" height and 3/4" depth. The Geek Squad tech installed some brackets behind it though that push it out a little farther than the 3/4". No review or technical specifications I found ever listed the dimensions. I might have gone with the single din version with a motorized display had I known my only option would be to put the display in my glovebox.

I could not have gotten a better deal for the price or better service anywhere. The installation was done so professionally if you didn't know, you would think it came from the factory.

I did not know what to expect when I got my replacement head unit kit for my car. It was installed by Geek Squad. They did a great job and for the most part I still see all my car features in car.

The adapters and all hardware were very easy to use and apply to the factory system for a simplified install process.

No complaints the kit fits my 2006 G6 great and I love my new stereo.

Great accessory for those needing to install their new head unit and wanting to keep car information.

Works well, would of been better with wire connection for steering wheel control..
