The trim piece is a perfect match to my existing dash. Looks factory.

This is the installation kit for the Pioneer AppRadio to adapt it to the Toyota Tacoma series of pickups. In fairness, I didn't do the installation, so I can't rate it on that score... BestBuy did, and I'm sure it was complex, since the AppRadio needs to know the position of the parking brake and transmission lever, as well as interface to a backup camera and, obviously, the electrical and antenna connectors. Nothing beats the experience of doing this work 8 hours a day, like BestBuy does, so I would not attempt it myself, despite long experience as an engineer. Having said that, this kit allows the radio to attach to your iPhone - which is what the AppRadio is all about. BUT ALL IT GIVES YOU IS AN 18" LONG CABLE BUNDLE WITH AN iPHONE ADAPTER AT THE END!!! Where are you gonna put the iPhone? You'd think these guys would have provided some sort of cradle for it on the bezel... or SOMETHING... but it's just a wire. My solutions so far consist of either putting the iPhone on my lap, on the console, or asking a passenger to hold it. None of these is great for 1) getting a GPS signal for the integrated navigation; 2) getting a cell signal for making calls; or 3) using the phone itself to compliment the not-too-ergonomic screen layout of the AppRadio itself. For the record, I'm gonna BUILD a nice cradle and attach it to the bezel myself, but I should not have to do this. It's kinda like buying a snazzy new car, only to discover it was designed without rear view mirrors. Can you drive it? Yes! Does it work mechanically? Yes! Is it a pain in the kazoo till you add the final touch that anyone with above a 3rd grade education can easily see is needed? Yes, indeed!

Overall a good fit & color match on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma.

Not only was this kit the perfect fit, but easy and quick to install. The fit was the exact needed size and color to match, as if it was installed from factory.

Best Buy carried my exact fit installation kit for my 2011 Tacoma. Can’t tell the difference between the factory dash kit and the metra kit.

Found this work out great; however the cutout for the radio was too large. But it did fit the dash correctly. Am going to make spacer to keep the gap from showing.

Great buy. Has excellent how to pics to disassemble your dash and install stereo. Perfect fit. Factory look.

Fitment was a smigin off and wish they would a had some different color options but it did house the double dinn DVD NAVI quite well with a lot of different mounting options and brackets included.

This kit works well, but is obviously no replacement for the original equipment. It holds the aftermarket unit in place but it does not sit flush with the edge of the trim kit.

I have had my head unit installed for almost a year now, this trim is is a matte black and when I sat in my truck the first time after installation I was stunned at how amazing it looked sorrounding the new stereo sitting in place of the factory piece . It looked, and still looks absolutely Amazing and flawless.

Kit worked reasonably well. Not perfect by any means, and I did need to have it adjusted 6 months later, but not bad at all.

Very nice kit, providing all I needed to get the factory radio out and replaced. Not luxury grade quality, but I didn't expect it. Friends couldn't tell.
