    New Radio Fits Great

    I needed this kit to replace an 2010 Subaru Forester OEM radio (2 DIN) with an aftermarket 1 DIN radio. This kit fits perfectly, looks very good, and provides a new storage space in the extra space created with the smaller radio body.

    It did not fit my 2012 Subaru Forester. Might work for a different Subaru model

    You get what you pay for

    Unfortunately I needed a kit to be able to have the stereo I purchased fit in my car. It is serving its purpose but it does look cheap. Thankfully it was cheap. For the price, it is not a bad product it just isn't great.

    I didn't have a choice for this kit, but would have selected something that looks more sturdy and or better.

    It does the job, but watch out for holes!

    One reason for the low score: I had a new radio installed at Best Buy using this mount. Mostly it is OK, but there is a tray where I would expect to be able to place small items; the cap to a USB memory stick fell into an opening in the back of this dark tray that I did not see. It is lost somewhere in the internals of my car dash now...
