I used the Metra 95-7810B dash kit to install a double-DIN receiver in my 2021 Honda HR-V, and it worked great. The matte-black finish blends nicely with the factory trim and the fitment is spot-on, so the new radio looks like it came with the car. The included brackets lined up perfectly and the install was straightforward with basic panel tools. I paired it with a JVC KW-Z1000W floating-screen receiver and the kit holds the chassis solid—no rattles, and the bezel sits flush all around once you set the depth correctly. If you’re upgrading your HR-V, this kit is exactly what you need. Pros: factory-style look; precise fit; sturdy brackets; straightforward install. Cons: like most dash kits, wiring harness/antenna adapter aren’t included, so plan those separately.

This product was poorly designed and conceived. its like everything for the HRV, quickly thrown together to get it out to the public, but shoddy. I wont even go into the fact there isnt a cam adapter available for rearview and lanewatch and stick to this jewel.. There is a bezel all the way around the radio facing, so you have a 1/4 in x 1/4 inch gap all the way around your radio which is good for nothing.. Also the bottom portion of the mount does not fully conceal the compartment, so when attaching the dash trim back on, you have a 1/64th gap between the mount and the dash trim, This is by far the worst metra product i've ever used. You are gonna buy it though, if you want to get rid of that factory radio, because this is the only thing out there! Cheers! I hope you have as much fun hating it as I do.
