Where is the dimmer wire? (orange wire/ white stripe) My older harness that I purchased ten years ago (120 70-1721 Revision 04/15/2010 had illumination and dimmer wires. This one 120 70-1721 revision 10/07/2013 has only an illumination (orange wire) why??? Could it be that the new radios no longer require the connection because they have their own dimmer settings? e.g. Automatic, Manual, and Timer settings?

For under $10 this connector made hooking up my new new Pioneer dashboard stereo very easy to install. It took me about 25 mins to remove my old stereo (never done it before and didn't want to break it) but installing the new one took less than 10! And with this connector, I was able to pre-connect the wires before I got to my car. Highly recommend it! ***One thing I should mention is that it wasn't available on the shelf so I had to ask someone in the car audio installation department to get one from the back for me.

I walked in a BestBuy store thinking about how to fix the broken CD player for my Honda Odyssey, and talked to this very friendly store salesman. After hearing my problems, he immediately went to his computer and printed out a short list of everything I needed to install a new car stereo to replace the original one. Figured that there was not much to loss, I purchase everything on this list, including this Metra-Radio wire harness adapter, and got a new car stereo installed. Now I can enjoy this much fancier brand new car stereo with CD player, and all of these for just 200 bucks.

Could not go wrong with the metra harness. I would recommend to anyone installing on there own to not marry the aftermarket harness and vehicle harness until you verify that the harness fits.

It was a easy fit. This harness makes installation 123 easy.

Some of these adapters can get quite expensive. I got lucky. This one was very cheap, but great quality.

My cd player that came with the car stopped working....I replaced it with a great radio/cdplayer/mp3 player. This harness was necessary for the installation and BEST BUY guys did a FAB job.
