I used properly sized sheet metal screws after drilling the rivets out to attach the bracket to my door. It fits snug, no rattling and good torque on the screw. I used the screws included with my speak to attach the speaker to the bracket. However I noticed it can be easy to strip the plastic with the screws if using too much force but all mine fit snugly, again, no noticeable vibrations at any of the mounting surfaces. The speakers I installed were a pair of Rockford Fostgate P1692 6x9. Everything fits great.

The positive is that you get the meat and potatoes to mount your speakers. Negatives are that you'll be making a trip to ACE hardware. I had to get the smallest screws and 4 washers each to mount the speakers into the brackets. Next is that the the holes to mount the brackets into the rear package tray don't line up. You'll need to mark where they should be and drill the holes into the brackets to line up correctly. Once mounted, they're great.

If you want to do it yourself for speaker changes in your car, this is the piece you need and was exactly what we needed. Description was perfect and arrived for pickup earlier than anticipated

Durable products tight fit for the front and rear.

Worked well. Would have liked them to not have a gap between them amd the car in places. Made installing my speakets a breeze .

Fitment was ok. I used them on a 2011 camry rear speaker area for aftermarket speakers. Those mounting holes lined up decently, but the issue I had was that one of the mounting holes to the car body are so close to where you mount the 6x9 to the adapter that you can not get the original bolt from the car to work without hitting the speaker. I ended up just using 3 bolts to the rear deck and the 4th spot i put some cardboard "shims" to keep it snug and not rattle. Other than that they are decent. Btw if you use these, do not tighten the factory bolts all the way because it will crush the adapter since the adapter backside is hollow

Perfect fit for the 2007 Camry rear deck speakers. Jusy need to make another whole or 2 on the bracket it self to anchor the speaker but thats just plain easy to do

I used these to install a pair of Kenwood 6x9's in my 2005 Corolla. At the one unique mounting point there wasn't enough clearance between the speaker and the adapter hole for the factory 10mm screw head to fit. I had to use a smaller bolt attached to a nut inside the trunk at this one location.

Bought these for a 2010 Toyota Corolla to put in some JBL GX963. The holes to screw in the speaker to the adapter did not line up. I could only get 2/4 to line up. Since this bracket is not solid plastic, but instead injected molded with large missing gaps along the inside of the rear view of the adapter, I could not simply drill new holes to make it work. This missing inner plastic also made the product feel flimsy as in to much bend/bolt force could easily crack it. The holes connecting the bracket to the car frame lined up fine. Will make me think twice before ordering Metra products in the future.

Definitely doesn’t fit correctly. Only was able to use 2 holes of the 4.

I bought the other Metra adapter for Toyotas thinking it would fit in my car only to find out it didn't work. Ordered these and they fit my new speakers and matched the stock mounting holes in my car!! Made installing my new speakers a breeze!!

The item does not line up with factory holes to mount speakers. Now the description does not confirm doors or rear deck. Was not going to remove door panels to check if they fit this location.

When installation of aftermarket speakers you need these.
