Easy to install once your door panel is off, 1 bolt hold it to the door and its pretty secure. The only issue is if you are using a 6.5" speaker you will use the inner screw holes and those all broke. I had this same bracket used when i upgrade my sound and stereo system in my silverado, and i guess from repeated door use it caused all the screws to break from this bracket and my speaker was just hanging behind my door panel. Repurchased this bracket and used better nuts and bolts, as well has speaker foam to help absorb impact from opening and closing the truck door.

The initial install was done using the incorrect adapters. The Geek Squad installation team in San Luis Obispo corrected the mistake and made it right.

If you’re getting these for the rear doors of a 07-13 Silverado/Sierra do your research. I had to cut these a bit to make them fit.

These worked great for my vehicle and allowed me to instal 6.5" speakers, where the factory had put 5 and a quarter speakers on the rear of my Chevy Silverado.
