This controller uses two AA batteries (included), however you may also use a rechargeable battery pack designed for use with Xbox Series X/S controllers such as the Xbox Rechargeable Battery and USB-C Cable for Xbox Series X/S. A rechargeable battery pack designed for Xbox One controllers may also be used, however you will need to get a standard USB-C cable since this controller is not compatible with micro-USB.

A Worthy collectible and a great product
While this is $10 more than a normal Xbox Series S/X controller, I wager it's worth it. The special edition includes a translucent front plastic chell, allowing us to see the insides. Microsoft went through the trouble of painting the inner frame silver to show better through the translucent shell. It also allows you to see the spinning weights for the rumble frature. The Xbox 20th Anniversary logo is molded in the plastic and located to the right of the right analog stick. There's a green rin around the D-pad to highlight it as well. The gray on black ABXY, and Menu share buttons are unique, as is the green Xbox logo button (which does light up). On the back are green rubber grips not seen on other controllers making it comfy to hold and hard to slip from your hands. Overall, it's a beautiful and properly functional collectible controller. It's become my Go to Xbox controller

Looks amazing but still shows signs of stick drift
This controller looks amazing and feels great in the hands. It's a shame these controllers are plagued by stick drift and there's no easy way to fix it. This controller has been great but has slowly began to show signs of drift in the right stick after ~10 months of light use. Visually this controller is beautiful and I will buy one to replace when it breaks.

Cool looking controller
Awesome looking controller for the old 2001 Xbox fans. Great sticks, rumble, battery life, and ergonomics The d-pad doesn't feel great for 2-D games, but it works better than the 360 controller's d-pad, at least.
