I’m a college student and I wanted to buy a computer, they told me this was the best computer to buy for college students so I did. When I got the computer I brought it home to set up. I was playing with it and was setting up the font, display, password and etc to my preference. I was on it for a while then got off. Then I went back on it to play around some more and couldn’t get on. I had it to where there was facial recognition and a password that would be accessible to unlock my computer. The facial recognition was being used without my command so it basically tried the max amount of times when I was in an area That didn’t have much lighting and it locked me out of that option so it told me that I had to put in a pin and there was no option for my pin( which I set up). I contacted windows support the guy was confused because he kept telling me there should’ve been different options on the screen and there was only 2 one of which I wasn’t even able to access. I was on the phone for hours trying to figure out what was wrong. He couldn’t figure it out and told me to go to the nearest microsoft store which was in a whole different state so that was not an option. He then told me to go to Best Buy and I did. So the geek squad found out my brand new computer had a corrupted software. So after that was done I was expected to pay $100 for the service and I did not have the money at all, I just put it all in the computer. I was thinking since it was a corrupted software on a new computer, that it would be covered by Microsoft. We eventually got it settled and my computer started working properly again. It was not a pleasant experience being on the phone for 2 hours and then being at Best Buy for over 1. And not being able to use my computer for college work. I’m also afraid to set up a password on it now because I feel like it may happen again...Now that the computer is fixed and I’ve had it for I think a month now, I haven’t had any problems at all it’s great! Sleek design, lightweight, and fast. NO SD CARD SLOT. That I was not told and was pretty disappointed about. It’s also Hard to find a case as well because of the dimensions.

I am currently a college nursing student and when my old laptop broke down mid-semester I needed a new one ASAP. I went to my local Bestbuy around Black Friday and received great customer service and ended up purchasing this laptop. It works fast, I love the face recognition for logins, and it's lightweight and fits easily into my backpack. I think my only complaint would be the battery life, I wish it could go a little longer without charging but then again I do watch a lot of Netflix (the screen is also very clear and rarely any buffering). It's a great buy especially if you want a Mac like laptop without the price.
