I debated a lot trying to find a perfect match to the Microsoft book 3 but this is pretty close or better. Although, I will miss the detachable screen this is a good light weight trade off. I heard about snapdragon being more powerful or longer lasting battery but in my opinion the battery power is the same and processing is the same. But definitely better resolutions.

The Surface Laptop 2024 is sleek, fast, and offers an exceptional display. Its performance is solid if all you really do is use the web store stuff, business. idk about anthing els. if it wasn't this ugly black color it would be perfect for me but this one was on sale. I've had it off charger for like 2 days and it didn't use it all up.

I have to say, Microsoft did an outstanding job with this computer. I bought it as a first-year biomedical engineering student, and it has exceeded my expectations. The processor is powerful, the memory is large, and the touch screen is fantastic. I especially love how it unlocks instantly just by recognizing my face. Another detail I really appreciate is how smoothly it opens,the bottom part stays flat on the table instead of lifting up, which makes it feel sturdy and well-designed. Honestly, I’d give this computer a 12/10. The overall experience is excellent, very much on the level of a Mac, if not better in some ways.

Microsoft did an amazing job revamping the Surface laptop, the new sleek design and fast processor makes this the perfect laptop for your business needs, day to day use, and most importantly the battery life on this laptop is amazing over 15 hours on one charge.

Works great, much needed upgrade from the original surface laptop

I love this laptop because it works so fast and is lightweight. The battery lasts forever so I can take it anywhere without having to worry about charging for a while. I just wish it had more ports (SD Card/ HDMI etc). I also wish the laptop keyboard was more ergonomic

This frustrating problem can significantly disrupt workflow, especially when you're navigating through tasks that require precision and smooth scrolling. It's baffling that such an otherwise polished product would have this persistent annoyance. While the Surface Laptop 7 excels in many areas, the inconsistent touchpad performance is a notable drawback. Hopefully, future updates or firmware fixes will address this, as it detracts from an otherwise stellar user experience.

I super love it. The size, weight, display and all the features really suit to my preferences. It’s easy to set up with excellent design. The audio, keyboard and mouse pad are all great.

The laptop itself is great, but it really depends on what purposes you need it for. For everyday use or studying, it works perfectly fine and the battery isn't too bad. However, the ARM processor can cause some issues, as there are games, applications, and programs that don't support ARMs. The storage and memory are great, although there are times where everything freezes if too many applications/browser tabs are open.

I love it a lot because it's very fast, reliable and easy to use especially if you’re a student. You can open multiple window tabs without getting the computer slow. I live the audio as well of its speakers. The keyboard doesn’t easily get broken. I’ve had other computers before from different brands and the keyboard just starts malfunctioning after a month or so.

Almost perfect. Only one negative was one of the APP does not appear to be compatible with snap dragon CUP and have to use web version. It is a great laptop for regular usage.

So far it’s good. I had reservations about a Microsoft computer because I never used one, but it’s delivering what we need. The Best Buy manager assisted us and made us think. He said that the Microsoft software has been around long enough to show that they know what it takes for a computer. He’s right. They created the Windows platform and it was the first non-DOS software I used decades ago.

The 13.8″ touchscreen is sharp, bright, and makes everyday stuff (like browsing, watching videos, scrolling through apps) a pleasure. What I Really Like Battery life that just keeps going This thing doesn’t need dying on you midday. On typical tasks — web browsing, school work, videos — it easily lasts a full workday without needing a charger. Some people even say it can go all day and barely blink at battery drain. Best Buy For what it’s packing, that kind of stamina feels like getting a free upgrade every morning. Smooth everyday performance The Snapdragon X Elite chip inside is super efficient. Apps open quickly, switching between programs feels fluid, and general productivity — like Word docs, Excel, email, and tabs — runs really well without hiccups. Best Buy I don’t notice lag unless I’m really pushing it with heavier stuff. ✅ Great build and keyboard It feels sturdy and premium — definitely not cheap. The keyboard is comfy, the touchpad is nice and responsive, and the whole design feels like Microsoft paid attention to the little details. Copilot+ features are a fun bonus The built-in AI features in Windows are nice to have — a quick way to get help, summarize text, or generate content without opening a browser — even though some of them are still being improved.

Surface Laptop 13.8 in was a gift for my granddaughter. She is in college and loves it. Easy to carry and its touch screen.

Wonderful upgrade for me. I had a surface laptop 5 which was so frustrating to use I had to find a replacement. I used a friend's MacBook for a test drive too. This laptop has better battery life, better screen brightness, and is overall faster. Absolutely the best laptop I've ever used.

This Surface Laptop is the best laptop powered by Windows you can get today. Amazing build quality, awesome battery life, exceptional Performance on battery with no huge perfermance deficit compared to plugged in. My only wish if it has OLED screen options like Surface Pro 11.
