So far, this is my favorite laptop. Have had this computer for a little while now as I traded in my MacBook Air for this one after having issues with my MacBook. I like how it has facial recognition to log in as an option, it’s touch screen, and it runs smoothly. Great battery life as well. I primarily use this laptop for school and work purposes but it can run some games too. Great computer overall. I haven’t experienced any problems

Overall good computer for a college student. Only mildly frustrating to use but thats mostly on me, switched from chrom to windows. No issues with storage or transferring any files. The charger is kinda flimsy. Its thin and slightly magnetic but doesn't really stay plugged in if you're moving around with it. I did figure out the computer will take a type-C cord charger though, which stays plugged in when moving around. The screen is a lot bigger then I'm used to, so the text is a bit smaller but its honestly not a big deal. Photo of it opened with the keyboard light on, easy to use and see keyboard when working late :)

This a great everyday laptop for use. I use it for school and I like that it is small & wash to carry and very sleek and clean.

This laptop is really amazing! It was worth my money! I loved the keyboard texture so I’m not always cold on my hands when I type. I also like how customizable the laptop was and how user friendly it is. The thing that really made me enjoy this product was how it really can adjust itself for gaming mode performance. I recommend this product for those who want to get their work done with some light gaming on the side.

This is a productivity monster , mobility is great, screen is very vibrant and responsive, the windows 11 is a plus but i suggest you purchase the pro so you can more out of the software and hardware. Ive had this labtop for 4 months and i have no issues.

I love this laptop so much, it's the perfect size and the velvet pattern on the keyboard makes it feel so luxury. I'm upgrading from an old Acer and I wanted something with the build quality of a MAC but on a Windows OS and this is the perfect mix. Pros: Luxury Feel, Face-ID to Unlock, Touchscreen, Speakers get really loud, Sturdy Keys, Backlit keyboard. Cons: Luxury price point, No SD card slot, No HDMI port, Only one USB A port, Camera is meh. The cons are not that big of a deal for me but it is important to note before you buy and these things are essential to you. Other than that, no complaints.

A fantastic laptop, I use it for school and it can last multiple days with no charge. Handles all the functions I need (stem major, not comp sci) and can even handle draining games like Roblox.

I love this computer. I love how smooth the keyboard and the keys are. I love how you can customize your laptop how you want. And the fact that it so slim that you want even know it in your bag.

Love the soft finish on the keyboard base. Nice professional color. Sleek design. No issues with operations whatsoever. The only downside I've encountered is the battery life being a little short, but I only experience this issue when I'm running large gaming apps. For business use, it is the perfect fit! Great for college students.

I was skeptical at first since I’ve always had an HP or Dell laptop for work; however, my new Surface has been GREAT! Don’t think I’ll purchase any other brand from now on!

Just got this laptop open-box, so I got it for $900 instead of $1000. I was skeptical of several things, but I am actually loving it so far. Cons: - Out of the box the laptop was having major battery issues. I was actually about to return it. Battery would say it's at 255%, then 100%, then 20%, and then it could not operate without being plugged in. I did a factory reset, and now the battery works perfectly. Glad I did not have to return it. - Bezels are a little chunky for a 2021 laptop. But honestly it looks bad when you put it next to a Dell XPS 13, but in practice the screen is plenty big. This display is a lot taller than the XPS 13 so the actual screen real estate is almost the same. - There is some flex on the keyboard when typing. This is probably not an issue on the metal version. I don't mind it but there is some flex for sure. - 8GB RAM? Why?? I know Microsoft has a 16GB version of AMD on their site but it costs $1200 and I don't want to pay $300 for extra RAM on a machine that is not meant for very heavy workloads. Microsoft is worse than Apple in this case: overcharging for RAM is not nice. Pros: - Love the display. Personally I love a touchscreen on a laptop when I am browsing websites or documents. That's my biggest complaint about the macbooks. - There's a USB-A port. The ports are definitely lacking but I'm glad it's not 100% USB-C. - Battery life is absolutely stellar. That's why I really wanted the AMD and not the Core i7 version. Battery life definitely lives up to the hype, but I haven't experienced the 19-20 hours Microsoft claims. It is plenty of all-day battery though. - Perfect size for a thin-and-light. - No bloatware. This is why I didn't go for the Galaxy Book Pro: Samsung has way too much bloatware. I love a clean software experience and Microsoft totally delivers on that. - Performance on the AMD chip is extremely impressive. I am able to run Autodesk Fusion 360 on this thing. I am able to play Portal 2 on maximum resolution. It's not going to be a monster, but I use a big PC for heavy workloads and this is a wonderful laptop for lighter work on the go. Overall, I wish they used the latest AMD processor, you could have 16GB RAM in the base config, more ports, and slimmer bezels. Also, Best Buy should've factory reset this thing to solve the battery issue. But for $900 open-box this is a wonderful deal and I'm incredibly happy with it. I know that the Macbook Air M1 is better performance for your money, but I have never liked Mac OS and am more productive on Windows (it's just what I'm used to). Hoping the Surface Laptop 5 will have those things I want and I will trade this one in when the time comes.

Was able to exchange a recently purchased surface laptop 3 for the 4 that just came out, Best Buy was very cooperative and made the process super simple. So far this laptop has been outstanding. The keyboard feels amazing, the Alcantara material feels great while typing and is a very nice touch, sound quality is pretty great, and overall response is very snappy. Booting up and logging in happens in just seconds with the facial recognition tool. Very lightweight and easy to maneuver when needed. Was able to get the surface earbuds with the purchase as well and they pair without a problem, and sound incredible too. Would definitely recommend this laptop. I didn't need anything too crazy or over the top as far as performance, but this machine has definitely exceeded my needs. Very satisfied thus far. The touchscreen works like a charm too. Haven't really found a downside yet. Battery seems to be pretty good so far but we'll continue to monitor it's longevity with Microsoft claiming the crazy 19hrs it can achieve. Great machine and very happy with purchase.
