When I purchased a new Surface, I had to replace my old keyboard. The new one works great. Matter of fact, it has a lighted keyboard. My old one did not.

This keyboard is indeed well-suited for the Microsoft Surface Pro, as it features keys designed for comfortable typing and a backlight that enhances visibility in dimly lit environments. Although it is sold separately from the Microsoft Surface Pro and is available at a higher price, its notable features, such as its texture and soft touch, along with its compatibility with the Microsoft Surface Pro, render it a superior option when compared to other alternatives.

Does what it is made for the keys feel smooth, but it is pretty pricey. However as someone who has to type up to 8 hours a day it is not really comfortable as the keyboard is small. Had to return it as it was causing me to get writer’s cramp.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 12" Keyboard is easy to snap on and turns my tablet into a real laptop, which helps me get schoolwork done anywhere. The keys light up and feel nice to use, and I like the special button that makes getting help fast. I think this keyboard is awesome and would tell my friends to get one.

Easy set up - just plug and play. Light and sturdy to allow easy transport. Provides excellent screen protection for the MS Surface when connected and folded shut.

I think the keyboard is actually pretty good. The trackpad and keys feel solid, and the alcantera bottom is a really nice touch. I do think that the price is too much for what you are getting. If you can find this for 100-120 on sale, i feel like that's a much more reasonable price.

Really like this keyboard and it was not as expensive as other brands out there. I don’t think I’ll have to upgrade my keyboard for a while and if I do it’ll probably be because a new color comes out but highly recommend this keyboard if you want something less expensive yet sturdy

Was a good purchase. Not only does it make input easier, I feel it protects the screen.

This item was cheaper than buying it brand new because it was considered "open box" but its brand new. It works well and clean and not keys stick or loose or anything bad. This works just as good as if i bought it brand new!!

Excellent keyboard, and the trackpad is very nice too. I hate the copilot button, but theres not getting around the fact thay Microsoft wants to shove AI in our faces these days.
