This has been a fantastic accessory for the Surface Pro 4. The tablet is great but this transforms it into a sleek and portable laptop. The quality seems very good and the mouse trackpad is better than most laptop trackpads but still not nearly as precise as an actual mouse. I like how the keys are backlit in case you need to work in the dark. My only gripe is that the surface pro accessories are the priciest accessories I've ever purchased. While on sale, it was still very pricey but the quality is top notch so far. I would buy this again as I would be frustrated beyond belief using the SP4 without. It just gets things done so much easier with the type case.

Stuck with a Surface Pro 3 type cover and having insane touch typing issues? This will solve your problem. I don't know how the old type covers ever made it to mass market without anyone going "I can't type on this thing". The Surface Pro 4 type cover works on both the Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4. Not only does this feature a chiclet style keyboard that lets you actually touch type but it has a taller and much wider touchpad as well. The SP4 type cover also has the funky alcantara material around the touchpad and keyboard so you get a nice fabric touch on the inside along with the outside. A gigantic improvement on the old keyboard and you owe it to yourself to upgrade if you feel the need to do so!
