I could not do a clean install of this OEM Operating System software on a new and newly formatted hard drive because, the motherboard bios in my Dell Inspiron 3880 would not detect it as a bootable drive. It should come with additional software to create a bootable partition on the new hard drive when installing a Windows 10 Pro 32-bit operating system on a computer which previously had Windows 10 Home 64-bit on its original hard drive. This continues to be a very frustrating situation.

I had previously purchased 3 copies of the 32-bit version of Windows 10 for my computers, as I have legacy software that will NOT run under 64-bit systems. By purchasing it through Best Buy, instead of directly through Microsoft or the computer shop, I saved nearly $100 per DVD purchase. I had to get another one, in hopes of a new computer, but unfortunately, the processor was designed for 64-bit systems, and won't load the 32-bit version. I can NOT see discarding perfectly good hardware and software, just to satisfy Microsoft's bottom line. As noted, buying the DVD through Best Buy was saving a considerable amount of money.

Nowhere in the description of the product at your website were the words OEM VERSION. Took forever to load and configure the laptop. Fortunately I had a business license and had built several desktop and tower machines...back when NT2000 was hot.

Hi there,
We're sorry to hear you had some frustrations with installing and activating Windows. To rectify this, we suggest reaching out to Best Buy support or Microsoft support. Here's the contact for our Microsoft Customer Support Team: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/
We hope that helps.

Very poor wording and advertising. Took awhile via Google to realize this is a very specific product. Returned for Windows 10 32-bit retail version.

Not good. It will not upload to my machine. And working thru all the "Help" suggestions did not get my problem resolved. I spent HOURS trying to ask the "right" question. Unfortunately, there is no Geek Squad person to talk to or at least not conveniently. This has been a very frustrating event. Fortunately, I backed up desktop and could reload everything except MS 2007 did not upload. I've been trying to use my machine for about a month w/o office product. Frankly, it sucks. I just noticed the fine print under the icon it says 32-bit. From the online description, I thought the software was for both 32- and 64 bit machines. My machine is 64-bit. Where do we go from here.

Bought this with my new computer to upgrade the home version of Windows 10 to Win10 Pro. Since this purchase, we've found that it's cheaper to buy it straight from Microsoft's site.

Even though I had Windows 7 on my computer, I received a message that my computer was not compatible to install Windows 10 on.

Thank you for supplying me with something I really needed. I received the product within a reasonable amount of time. It is just what I needed. I have been a customer for a while and Best Buy has never disappointed me. I found the product I needed with very little effort. Thank you for all your good work.

It would not read on my computer cd rom! I took my computer to Best Buy in Joplin and they couldn’t get it to read either! They loaded a flash drive, but now I haven’t been able to get my computer to log on to the internet!

I used this install to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10. Works as expected. No issues. Only wish my laptop was 64-bit.

I purchased this item to change from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on an Oracle VM VirtualBox system. It will not install on VirtualBox although I have been using Windows 7 for several years on VirtualBox.

It's an ok OS. Was not listed as OEM version, though.
