Considering I am an avid Sony fan, this controller still manages to keep my hopes alive for the XBox One. My biggest qualm with this is the lack of included recharge-ability. I have the second generation style with the 3.5mm headphone jack, so that is a good step up from Gen 1. I have also modded my controller with a custom color LED. Simple procedure.

XBO controllers lost the palm swell, finger notch, and seamless contours of the XB360 controllers. This translates into reduced playing time because of hand and wrist fatigue. The XBO controller is also plagued with sharp painful edges, especially when adding the chat pad. This all culminates into a bulky-feeling, awkward controller that abandons the comfort of its predicessor. On the up side, both mushroom joysticks have had a finely textured pattern crafted around their edges improving responsiveness and sensitivity when playing first person shooters. Hope that Microsoft comes out with a redo as currently, this is our only choice for XBO.

With this Xbox one controller you can feel every tires screech every break stop and every collision it's so amazing! Buying an extra controller made it twice as fun for me I hope it does for you!

I'm in love with your wireless connectivity, but please make more colors of controllers so I don't have to!

The freedom of the wireless remote is priceless. I didn't give it 5 stars because it drains even the most expensive batteries in one use(a few hours) I would recommend buying the rechargeable battery packs to use with the wireless remotes. That's on my list to buy next.

Great controller when it is functioning like it is supposed to. Durable, too. I've dropped it many times, and it still does everything it is supposed to...except the D-Pad stopped working at two out of the four points. I don't know if that is from one of the many drops, or just a regular issue. It is one year since I've purchased this and it is kind of frustrating because it isn't something simple like a TV remote. I know it is not a toy. I understand it is a delicate piece of equipment. I just hate that something fails after less than a year of use yet costs $60.

Love the design of it, so much sleeker and aesthetically appealing then the 360's controller. Feels great in your hands and very durable.

Back in the day, you would get 2 controllers and a game or two when you bought a system. That's not the case anymore, so you just have to figure in the cost of an extra controller if you know you'll need one. This controller is the same as the one that came with the system so it works just as I expect it to. It was easy to sync and I haven't had any issues. I have bought off brand controllers for systems in the past and it hasn't worked out, so I would recommend just paying the extra and going with the real thing.

so Microsoft stinks and only warranties controllers 90 days. about 4 months into owning my xbox one something inside the controller cracked and started rattling around inside cause problem along with the left thumb stick not working. I decided to get this updated one with the 3.5mm. as a casual gamer this is great. i can plug in a pair of headphones into the 3.5mm when i need to be quieter and not disturb people (i chose a pair of skull candies for under $50)

I really like the wireless freedom! Super easy to set up. Makes gaming much more fun. It would be even better if it came with rechargeable batteries and a recharger standard.

EVEN THOU THIS WIRELESS CONTROLLER IS STANDARD WITH THE XBOX ONE IT IS BUILT GREAT AND HAVE A NICE FEEL TO IT. IT FEELS WAY BETTER THEN THE PREVIOUS CONTROLLER THAT MICROSOFT CAME OUT WITH FOR THE PREVIOUS XBOX360 A BIG STEP UP....!!! IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD AN ELITE HANDLE THIS ONE WILL DEFFENENTLY DO THE JOB UNTIL THEN...GREAT QUALITY HANDLE FOR THE BUCK.

For some reason the original controller stopped working. So purchased this one with a warranty. Have had no trouble thus far. I like having to ability to get help if there is an issue. And will purchase another one for my child's friends when they come by. I also recommend getting the rechargeable batteries as the batteries drain quickly.

Great product, very sturdy, easy to use. We bought it because we have three kids and needed a third one. Our kids love this product. Even when the kids are not so kind with the controller, it keeps on ticking. They have thrown it across the room and sat on it and still it works. Great product.

The Xbox One wireless controller is very sleek and feels very good when playing games. This redesigned controller is much better than the Xbox 360's. I also like the fact that the controller can be updated wirelessly using your Wifi connection.

I really enjoy the design and feel of the Xbox One controller. The new triggers and bumpers give a great feel. Pretty cool. In the beginning it might seem to be difficult but after a couple days you will be more used to the LB and RB.

Using the controller for about a month now, I don't have any complaints. I haven't used an controller accessories like the keypad or headset. I don't notice any lag and the controller works fine wirelessly from across the room.

The look and feel of the new controllers are nice and sleek. The battery life on them is not that great but likely do to the charging station we purchased. My only other complaint is the controller disconnects quite a bit at totally random times while you are playing. Not sure if this is the controller itself or again the charging station and batteries.

The Xbox is nearly useless without the second controller unless you are alone on a deserted island. The second controller MUST simply be a duplicate of what came with the console to keep the kidos from fighting over this one or that one. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star is that it should come in the box with the console and other controller.

Great design. It feels lightweight and comfortable. Only wish it had a rechargeable built-in battery like Sony--yes I know there are play and charge kits, but why should we have to pay extra for that feature?

Recently, upgraded from a Xbox 360 and I must say this controller feels even better. I'm planning on buying the play and charge kit so I don't have to worry about buying batteries all the time.
