Over the range microwaves are produced to a certain interior cubic inch measurement and as a result some units are larger than others. This can result in the front of the microwave extending past the adjacent cabinets. In some instances, after installing the Microvisor Retractable Extension Hood there can be a gap between the end of the hood and the face of the cabinets. Well not any more, here are our Extension hood side panels for customers requiring a closure of the gap behind the hood and or frame. These side panels can be used on the standard install or along with any adapter in our store. Installs quickly and easily with only a Philips screw driver.

The provided filter adapter comes in two sections, one for each side, along with two screws for installation, and allows easy access for center filter. If your OTR unit does not have a center filter on a pop out tray this is not needed
