It does help a bit with regards to giving more support for your chair, however depending on your personal size, it deflats quickly and within minutes does not provide comfort for a larger person like myself. I can see the benefits, however does not tick all the boxes I needed.

This is a unique, thick cushion for a chair. It is comfortable. Only problem is that there is no strap to tie it to the chair and it keeps sliding.

This cushion is very comfortable no complaints in that department. The only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t stay in place very well. It has very small rubber dots on the back, but it doesn’t do much to stop it from sliding. The whole bottom being rubbery would have been much better, other than that happy with the purchase.

This is a great seat cushion. I sit on it five days a week, and every day, my tailbone is thankful. I also appreciate that the cushion isn't memory foam. While the cushion is quite soft, it always springs back after use.
