Not the best from Laika Studios, but still very enjoyable & the kids love it!

I feel like many of Laika Studio's wonderful stop-motion films don't get the attention from audiences that they deserve. Everyone is flocking to see the latest computer-animated films, but they aren't going in droves to see Laika's films. However, they should be. These films are so masterfully crafted. There is so much work that goes into them, for sure. But they are so well made that you feel like you're watching a computer-animated film at times. The animation can be so fluid. The details and textures are just incredible...and it's largely all physical. I would love to see this get a 4K UHD Blu-ray release, but we get a very nice standard Blu-ray. The film looks and sounds very good. I highly recommend seeing this entertaining and family-friendly film.
