The stakes are higher in the third movie of the series as Ethan Hunt gets pulled back into action after becoming an instructor and becoming engaged. Philip Seymour Hoffman seemed to have been an odd choice as a villain at the time but he pulled it off menacingly well. The end of the movie appeared to be a send off to Hunt going off to live his life in wedded bliss but as we all know now that was not the case. The transfer to 4K Ultra is better than the first two versions as well, although not completely up to par.

The best MI flick (in my opinion) gets an amazing looking 4k transfer. I would have loved an Atmos or DTS X audio treatment, but it still sounds great.

4k audio and video are noticeably better than the standard blu ray. If you have a 4k tv and player, then the upgrade is a no brainer.

Who doesn't love Tom Cruise and his Mission Impossible movies? Action packed, that's all I can say.

I have watched nearly all these movies in this franchise on the big screen this happens to be my favorite because of Phillip Seymore Hoffman's performance. When this movie came out on DVD release originally has two discs. Later versions only have one disc on DVD and Blu Ray. When Paramount release this movie and the rest on Blu Ray before the recent release of Fallout Paramount stiffed the fans again! This time no digital download either. I have to pay for the 4k version to get the second Blu Ray disc with extra special features and the digital download too. Best Buy did not carry all the movies at two stores I have visited. This one I was lucky that I found this at their Mentor location. Apparently, Tom Cruise isn't at popular at Best Buy. You can't find his earlier movies at Best Buy, including the discount bins.

I have enjoyed all the Mission Impossible movies to date. I never watched the tv show, so yes I hear all the complaints about the franchise is supposed to be based on a team not just one guy, but with no prior M:i history before the movies I do not let that stop me from enjoying the films. J.J. Abrams took over the franchise with this installment (though this is the only one he has directed), I think he did a great job with it! A must see for fans of the movies!

Paramount has taken this film and given it the 4K treatment, and they do it quite nicely! I do feel slight disappointment that the audio is being presented in Dolby 5.1, as it could have been remixed into Atmos or into 7.1 to match other 4K Blu-Ray films and their high standards of audio. But overall, a great Mission: Impossible film however you look at it!

This UHD's textural improvements over the Blu-ray are more incremental than they are substantial. On this disc, the improvements brought by the Dolby Vision color enhancement are more substantial than the image's textural qualities. No new extras are included but this three-disc set does carry over all previously released content.

I watched Mission Impossible 4 first then watched part 3. So right off the bat I noticed the picture quality in MI3 is not as sharp as the picture in MI4. The picture quality is still good and the movie is still a classic and for less than $25 I consider this one a great deal and a must for the collection!

I saw the movie when it came out in the theaters. My main reason for buying it was that it was on sale and came with movie money to see the new Mission Impossible. After watching it again, I remembered how enjoyable it was. I think it was better than I and II. J.J. Abrams does a good job in creating a fun, exciting movie.

With 5 fantastic MI movies under his belt, Tom Cruise knows how to milk a great idea when he sees one. This entry with the legendary reboot king J.J. Abrahms at the helm takes the cake with everything you could ask for in spy thriller. Highly recommend for those who like their action shaken, not stirred.

So I read and viewed a bunch of 4k reviews of this movie. It is one of my favorites in the franchise. I could definitely see the detail and color difference from the standard Blu-ray from the opening interrogation! Worth upgrading if you’re a fan of this one!

The 4K audio upgrade to Dolby TrueHD over the Blu-ray's lossy Dolby Digital is worth the upgrade. The increase in video resolution is noticible and also worth the upgrade. Bonus features are all carried over to the included Blu-ray disc.

JJ Abrams joins the IMF and turned the show around. This is where the franchise basically gets rebooted and it's only gotten better from here. The AV is upgraded as much as the first three. This is how it should look, even if it could sound better.

I watched all four Mission Impossible movies. This one takes the cake. Phillip Seymour Hoffman plays a great villain. Tom Cruise and his M.I. team had great chemistry. And Maggie Q..let's just say that she is the hottest girl in the whole M.I. franchise, hands down.

A must buy if you are a fan of the Mission Impossible films. Each new film brings better action and more impressive stunts. Had to have this to add to my collection. 4K was just the icing on the cake.

I love the first, am very lukewarm on the second, but it's the third installment that sent this series into overdrive. This it the best presentation it's ever had on physical media, and well worth the purchase!
