Q: I got a cork stuck inside, how do you disassemble to remove it?

A: No need to disassemble, put the cork screw back on top of the wine bottle & push the down button. That should get cork off the screw. Good Luck!

A: I also have the $20 opener. The difference is this is taller, lighted and has the wine bottle stoppers. I didn't notice it being faster or better.

A: The stoppers are just to use as replacement corks - they just fit snug down onto the top of your wine bottle. Unfortunately, I don't think this device removes air. But if you open a bottle one night and can't finish it all, we've found that replacing the cork with one of the stoppers is very sufficient in preserving the taste of the wine for the next night.

A: No it doesn't have batteries, just let it charge for the recommended time and you should be good to go.

Great wine opener
Great wine opener, makes opening and preserving bottles of wine extremely simple. I love the recharging base that is included.

Does it's job every time!
I'm really impressed with this wine bottle opener! I thought it was going to be some what of a gimmick, but it turns out that it really is a great little bottle opener. It's sleek, well made and works! You charge it up, lights up the whole clear window blue (which I could live without as it remains lit the whole time it charges) but once charged, the blue LED light goes out. After trimming off the foil from the top of the wine bottle, place the bottom of the opener on top of the wine bottle and press the down button. The corkscrew winds down and pierces the cork in the bottle. Press the up button and the bottle opener pulls the cork out of the bottle, easily and cleanly. Once the wine bottle is open, you then press the down button again, and the cork slowly unwinds from the corkscrew and is deposited out of the bottom. Works perfectly every time. Very simple to use.

Best Wine Bottle Opener!
I bought this when it was a Deal of the Day and it is the easiest opener I’ve used to date. Most openers require you to push down on the cork to get it going. This opener eliminated that. All you do is stand the opener on top of the bottle, aligned with the cork and it does all the work for you. It also comes with two wine stoppers and the top part of the opener is a like a vacuum sealer for those stoppers. I bought another one for my mom, because she has arthritis in her hands and shoulders and it was becoming difficult for her to open a bottle. She absolutely loves this product. It doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. This is a perfect gift to give any wine lover, for Christmas, birthdays, or as a house-warming gift.
