I live in the south metro of the Twin Cities, about 14 miles from downtown. I was skeptical about how well this would work especially since I needed to put the antenna on a south facing window opposite most towers in the area. The result was amazing. Full HD content on many main network channels indistinguishable from cable TV. My Samsung smart TV was able to pick up 80+ channels over the air including HD channels for ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS, and a large number of other stations 30 to 50 miles away all free (or at least without a monthly bill). This antenna was easy to setup and has allowed me to finally escape the frustration of cable boxes, 2-year contracts, and fluctuating cable company prices. Great reception (you can check yours by installing the “Antenna Point” app on your smart device and checking which networks and signal strength you can expect). Note if your TV doesn’t have a USB to power the amplifier, pick up a cheap wall plug with a USB adaptor (not included) and I needed some extra 2-sided foam tape to make sure the antenna stays more permanently attached to the window/wall.

If you are not wanting to pay outrageous prices for cable, you need to get an antenna. I highly recommend this one in particular, it is super easy to set up. However, it took me a while to figure out the channel searching on a new TV that I received but it picks up channels you never thought existed. It will for sure give you the basic local channels and lots more. Just make sure you read through the tips on how to get the best signal.

Works really well. Picks up NBC, which is what I wanted it for, and 23 other channels. No PBS or ABC from here, but I’m very happy with it for the money. It actually works. Saves $80/ month in cable TV bills.

Love this! Easy to hook up! Very light weight to hang on wall or window. We get all our local stations and more for no monthly fees. Would recommend for indoor antenna. Reasonably priced too.

They work very well not my first time buying these. Glad Best Buy has them in stock in person so I don't have to wait for them to come in online. Hides easily behind the TV As always a pleasure to shop at best buy.

I got over 200 channels with this HD Antenna very easy to set up and just watch how many channels you'll get

The antenna works to bring local broadcasts including live programs not available using my cable system. A bit more information or a link to local broadcasts available and how to distinguish these broadcasts from the cable broadcasts would be helpful. I still am learning the intricacies of this new access.

We had an antenna TV of the non smart version. It works well, channels were lost. This device added the old channels back and a few more. Old Samsung is certainly easier to use than the "smart" one.

We are using this antenna not far from a major metropolitan area so I can’t speak to how it would perform under different circumstances. But in our case, we can pull in dozens of digital over-the-air channels worth crystal clarity. The antenna, which we have placed on a wall facing the metro area, is nearly invisible and could easily be disguised further by painting it or putting plants in front of it. Remarkable technology which has let us keep local news channels while eliminating $150 of our total cable/internet bill. We are thrilled with the result and wish we had known about this years ago.

Excellent reception. When our streaming service from sling is spotty this works. Since ditching cable its nice to get local stations again also. The grey color blends in with our light greenish wall too, just as I hoped it would.

I am seventy-five and trying save $. I bought this antenna at the recommendation of the Best But sales person. They sai, “it was their best selling antenna. I found extremely easy to install. There was only one hole it could plug into. I love it. I cannot believe all the channels and all the money I am now saving.

Absolutely love my Mohu antenna. So many times, I would buy an antenna to save money and they would never work. This antenna is a beast. An absolute champion and I get over 58 channels. Not only would i recommend it. I would say give it a try for sure. I don't do many reviews, but this is perfect for anyone who just wants to save some money and get basic channels to watch local sports or news.

The antenna does not work very well. It loses channels they buzz out or lose signal and it doesn’t matter how you place it or moving around it does not help. I only give it three stars.

I replaced my Terk $80 antenna with this more easily mountable Mohu. I found the inline defeatable amplifier a nice option. I was able to add a length of cable with a female coupler to reach the top of my outer wall. Since I live in a garden level apartment this was necessary for the best reception. It didn't get all of the channels that my RCA in my bedroom took in but I can stream what's missing.

Awesome! The only reason I got it was so I could watch NFL games without having to pay a cable or streaming service and it works great.
