I was hesitant to buy a cooktop with a stainless steel base because I thought it would be (very) difficult to clean but food doesn't stick to it and is very easy to clean! The main reason I purchased this model is because of the knobs are not straight in a row---they are rather set in accordance to the position of the burners. Another feature I appreciate, but didn't know it when I bought it, is the knobs are back-lit when in use. Love it!

Love my GE cooktop!
I love this cooktop and it was certainly worth the wait since it always in a short back order. I think how it has a red light around the knob when the burner is “on” and the stainless steel wipes up very easily. I like how the burners are attached and easy to clean. The love that it has continual grates to easily slide my pot to another burner. I also love the griddle that comes with it. Make breakfast fun to cook!
