Bought this hood to match our range bought at same time. Range has 18K BTU burners and required hood to handle that output. Works great. With timer, dimmer capability and looks great

looks great in the new kitchen and works wonderfully.

I have always experienced a lack of proper ventilation and difficult cleaning attributes to most cooking ventilation fans. It seems like these problems may be better this time.
