I have always had AppleCare for all of my iPhones. I wouldn’t consider not having it for my first iPad. I’ve replaced several phones over the years with it. For my iPad they are spending a lot of time helping me set it up. I didn’t want all of my phone connected to my iPad. I bought it for specific uses. I’m always needing guidance on something. Sometimes I’m severely sleep deprived and I can’t think quickly. Every support person has always given me all the time and patience needed to reach my goal. I get way more assistance than a 20 minute appointment at a store. The part I especially like is their ability to crawl inside my iPad / iPhone and see what I’m seeing. Guide me with a red arrow to the place I need to be. Heaven forbid I have damage to my iPad like I’ve had with my iPhone, but I know they’ll have my back in fixing or replacing it.

Had to call because I could not print from my brand new IPad Air to my brand new HP 7602 printer. VERY helpful. Even discovered that one should NOT install the HPSMART app for the printer if one is using an IPad Air tablet. I thought I had been screwing up the installation…but it actually was HP kind of over-engineering it. AND the helpers were very professional and very understanding.
