A: It is listed at Motorola website as unlocked. When ordering, you have to choose carriers between AT&T or Verizon. It may have to do with the sim card which came preinstalled in my phone. To be honest, I'm not sure. To be safe, I ordered it online and choose Verizon as the carrier. It needs the 5G sim card that comes with. I had to call Verizon from a different phone to activate the sim card to my account. It's definitely a nice phone.
