If you start off in the right spot and never have to move it, maybe it’s fine. If you have to adjust the angle for it to project over peoples heads and not be at a strange trapezoid, using the tilt/swivel is a nightmare and placing a 3kg projector on the stand after doing so will likely lead to it losing its balance and potentially damaging the projector/cables. Worked alright when I could just plop it up on a wall directly in front of it, but at this price point advertising tilt, swivel, and rotation this is not reliable. If you expect full tightness on the gimbal to protect it from wobbling and aren’t watching closely when placing the projector on the platform, the whole thing can and will easily fall off. Just bent my hdmi cable in the process. at like $25 that’s par for the course, at this price point this is absurd. I wish I’d tried using the tilt/swivel before the return window was up.
