Q: CAN THIS PRODUCT BE INSTALLED ON 12 INCH STUDS?
A: Yes, the MI-309 mount can definitely be installed on 12-inch studs. The wall plate is 17 inches wide and specifically designed to accommodate various stud spacings, including 11.8 inches (standard 12-inch spacing) and 15.7 inches. As long as you use a stud finder to center the mount on your 12-inch studs, you will have a secure installation.
A: Dear Customer, This unit does not support 24" studs nor do we sell any extensions. We do have other mounts that can support that spacing and move along the wall plate for centering. Please contact our customer support at 1-855-915-2666 if you would like to have us show you some options.
