The first robomower I got was the NON-AWD mova lidax ultra 2000. It's a great system, easy to set up and reliable. But the 2WD, while it managed most of the time it struggled on my modestly uneven lawn. The AWD version was everything great about the 2000_2WD...with a substantially better run time and no difficulty with the terrain. MOVA customer service tends to be highly responsive, but ineffectual. Other than that, I wish I'd gotten the AWD first. Once you get the hang of the mapping and settings...this machine is reliable. I can't stress enough how much better the runtime is than the 2WD models. I don't like to run it when I'm not home, just to be sure I'm there if any issue arises. So the 2WD being able to only work an hour at a time, then charge for an hour, then cut again...my entire lawn would either take 8 hours to cut in one day, or I'd have to schedule single zones over the course of the week. The AWD cuts faster, and longer. My front/side yard areas, about 5500 sq ft, is done with one charge in about 2 hours, 30 minutes. It was like everything cool about the lidax 2000 ultra 2WD...times 4. The reason I went with mova in the first place was because it required no satellites or guide wires. And from all the trouble I've read researching various robot mowers...I was very please to have no trouble with the guidance system at all. It's reliable, it has never wandered away and the only time I ever had a problem has been due to some settings and mapping details to give the machine a better idea about how to get where it needs to. I recommend this product. Again, get the AWD. It costs more, but it's worth it.
