The MOZA R9 is amazing! It’s surpassed what I was expecting by a lot. At first I thought it was kind of weak and then realized I I only had it on 50% strength and after turning it up to 100% I realized it’s actually too much and turned it down a bit. It’s comes in a surprisingly small form factor so that is really nice to see and it’s very easy to setup with any game I’ve played with it. This obviously isn’t one of the top end high tier 20nm bases but it’s honestly way more than I need and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I highly recommend to anyone trying to get into sim racing.

Upgrading from a belt driven thrustmaster to this moza r9 direct drive. Everything is 10x better and the 9nm of torque i think is the sweet spot for intermediate/beginners. I dont use 100% FFB to leave some overhead and its still plenty powerful. Went back and forth between this and the r5 bundle but decided to just spend the extra money for something i know i wont need to upgrade anytime soon.

Responsive, but feels like it tops out at about 10 lbs of rotational force, which seems like a lot for a wheel, but it gets easier over time, and it is easy to ‘grow out of’

This is a great win for sim racers. Thank you moza racing for making sim racing more available. I own the r9 myself game changer in terms of force feedback, the difference between a direct drive wheel base vs a gear driven base is night and day. If you love sim racing this is a really great entry point.
