This movie is very entertaining. Jimmy Stewart shines as the long suffering dad to Maureen O'Hara’s sixties Mom. And as the title says, they all take a vacation. A very, very wacky vacation. But if you don’t remember the sixties, you may not get it.

Jimmy Stewart give one of his best comedy performances in this 60’s classic. Supporting cast is great esp. Maureen O’Hara.

Great, timeless movie. I watched this with my Grandma and my parents, and it was enjoyed by all the ages. Kind of similar to National Lampoon's Vacation, but overall cleaner. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of comedy.
