This is one of the more expensive versions of the 3070. Nvidia created a great card that beats last versions 2080 and matches the 2080ti with less power/temps. Now this card costs more than the 3080 FE and some 3rd party 3080s. Is it a good value? When compared to the previous generations yes. When compared to this generation no. The board is locked to the same FE board power of 220W. Not sure how they can call this an OC! NVIDIA low introductory MSRP on founders edition created a real pricing pickle for 3rd parties. To put performance into perspective this card averages small 1-3 FPS gains on the FE card. Not enough to satisfy the cost. This card is longer and thicker than the FE (takes up more pci slot space). It does run cooler and quieter but the FE does those two thing really well. No power adapter needed. No RGB. Non-metal backplate. The 3070 is a monster of a card. This card is all that but not at the current price.

While this MSI is crazy expensive for a 3070, in the times like this you get what you can at base price. At the end of the day it’s a solid 3070 with great cooling and even greater performance. Overclocking is pretty much not an option with it but it doesn’t need to when you’re seeing 120+fps at 1440p with most triple A titles. Works like a beauty and can really crank it to 100% for long periods and it still stays cool under pressure. Just give it lots of airflow. I paired mine with an X570 MSI tomahawk Motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 5600x. I couldn’t recommend this card enough as long as you don’t go into debt affording it.

Paid $559.99. What a huge upgrade coming from a GTX 660. I’ve never had an MSI video card before, but this card most definitely surpasses my expectations from performance to build quality. I was able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra-quality with no frame drops at 1080p. I was also surprised how the fans don’t spin until the cards starts getting hot, and with some games, the fans don’t even spin at all. I believe this is also due to the fact that the heatsink is partially exposed allowing the case fans to cool the heatsink as well. I was originally going for a card with RGB lights, but I like how the light reflects off the exposed heatsink. The card also came with support bracket. The support bracket isn’t necessary, but I did like the look of it, so I kept it on. Amazing card with great build quality!

I bought this GPU in Feb 2021. It was difficult to obtain at the time, but I got lucky with my purchase. This GPU has been great. I am able to run every game I own at the highest graphics. It has great performance and I have not had any issues with the RTX 3070.

A great card overall. Runs cool and silent. Awesome performance. However, a bit pricy compared to other RTX 3070 cards. No RGB but I'm fine with that. Just happy my build is finished.

Obviously not the easiest thing to acquire, but great performance overall! On average better than 2080ti performance for less than half of the cost! I personally like the RGBless design of this model, but looks are always subjective. Highly recommended to anyone looking for good performance without breaking the bank.

Works as a 3070 should, like the temps it reaches great for gaming, tried mining a couple of hours for this comment (not my thing), both activities reach about 65 C stable nevertheless I do feels it’s way overpriced compared to the other 3070

Great performance. Quite an uplift in performance over my old MSI GTX 970. Getting great performance 120FPS at 2k. Primary games at the moment... DCS World - High Settings at 2k Star Wars Squadrons - Ultra Settings at 2k No lighting but that's ok for me. The noise seems to be on par with the GTX 970 under load.

Stays quiet and runs fantastic, I haven’t played with overclocking but I’ll for sure try to push it once there’s a game it can’t overcome (not anytime soon)

This was my 2nd choice after the white Gigabyte Vision card but I can't really complain because I was actually able to purchase this one. It's a big improvement over my previous 1660ti card. Knocking off a point in ease of use because this card is massive and doesn't allow me to mount a radiator in the front of my Meshify C case.

Love the card sadly the backplate isnt as big as the cooler so it would look bad if it wasnt vertical thank god I had a vertical mount but im rating performance does the job lovely card !

Really nice GPU but the price is just a little high overall it’s nice and runs like a beast definitely a 3070
So far card works great, but it is a HUGE graphics card. It fits in my case but just barely.

runs hotter than my ex's temper at 60c. honestly i can't believe i got my hands on any rtx card at the time of purchase, that being said $638.66 after taxes and shipping delays, it was kinda a hard pill to swallow. but at least i can ray trace minecraft and play cyberpunk 2077 now. i'll proabably slap a g12-aio mount on this to see if it controls its temps. it uses 2(4+4) 8pin connectors (psu) instead of the 12 pin so thats neat. paired with my i9-10850k 32 gb of ram.
I got this card for my brother and I was happy to see the look on his face when he got it. Now we can play lots of games together. Worth every penny I spent on it. Thanks Best Buy!
