When I decided that I was going to update from a 3060 and saw this card, I didn't know if it would be a perfect fit or not. And now that I have had it for a few weeks, I am not disappointed! This is by far the best card I have ever had. Not only was it affordable, I was able to grab it before it sold out. The card is slim, features RGB in the middle of the fan, and on the side. It runs cool and is more than capable of running my favorite games : Monster Hunter Wilds - highest graphics and ray tracing, Ark Ascended -ultra graphics (and we know how unoptimized Ark is), Cyber Punk - highest graphics - just to name a few. What about frames? I have a 180hz monitor and often find myself getting 120+ frames without frame generation. This card is dope! A lot of complaints on here about the card being too big? That happens because measurements weren't made, so make sure you measure your case. Because this was my first bought GPU, I got to build my first PC ever, customized it, and it was an amazing experience! I highly recommend this GPU to everyone. Incase anyone wondering: my case is a Hyte Y70 Touch (has a touch screen).

Coming from a 3070 I was worried that this wouldn’t be what I was hoping for. Too many negatives surrounding the “fake frames”, having less than 16gb vram, etc. I’m glad to report that the 5070 is way more than what people have both reported and bashed this card on. Dlss 4 is excellent with frame gen is excellent compared to the 30 series where I’d typically have to run games on Performance mode instead of balanced/quality because it didn’t have access to frame gen. I used my 3070 for both 4k and 1440p and unfortunately with that card Ray Tracing/Path Tracing wasn’t playable to my standards. Consistent hitching, constantly under 60fps even when scaling resolution/dlss and while it performed better than my console counterparts having spent so much on that card ($1000 at the time because of the cards scarcity - 2020 sucked) I’ve been itching to really play cyberpunk with all the bells and whistles. I expected maybe 60fps with performance/frame gen with everything cranked but I’m getting near perfect performance everything Ultra, 3440x1440, 100+ fps dlss quality, and frame gen x3 (can go to x4 but found x3 was the sweet spot) Now not all games are equal where black myth wukong unfortunately woth frame gen over x2 has major artifacting but with some minor tweaked settings it also can run 100+ fps with ray tracing. If you’re worried about the missing vram and have the extra cash to get a ti version, do it! Frame Gen really is wayyyyy better than people are leading it on to be. It was a simple swap of my current gpu, installing the new driver and bam perfectly running without any issues so far. I will mention it’s a much larger card in width, length and height. While I’m not thrilled at the price of the 5070 it’s a much better deal than a 5080 which is typically selling for $1300+

A lot of people criticizing this GPU are comparing it directly to the previous generation, but that misses the bigger picture. Most of us aren’t upgrading our graphics cards every year like they’re smartphones. For anyone coming from an older GPU, the jump is massive. I upgraded from an RTX 2070 to the RTX 5070, and the difference is night and day. The boost from 8GB to 12GB of VRAM is immediately noticeable, especially for my workflow. I regularly edit and play 8K 360° videos, and this card handles that workload far better than my old setup ever could. Despite running an older MSI motherboard with PCIe 3.0, the card installed without issue. Sure, PCIe 5.0 would offer more bandwidth on paper, but even on PCIe 3.0 this upgrade breathed new life into my system. My 850W 80+ Gold PSU was more than enough to power it. One tip: make sure your motherboard BIOS is fully up to date. My system didn’t recognize the card at first, but a BIOS update fixed it instantly. If you’re upgrading from an older GPU—especially something like a 20‑series card—this is absolutely worth it. Current PC Setup: • MSI B360M PRO-VDH (MS‑7B24) • Intel i9‑9900K • MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (upgraded from RTX 2070) • 32GB DDR4 RAM • 850W 80+ Gold PSU

Upgraded to the NVIDIA 5070 Gaming Trio for my new work/gaming rig, and it’s been flawless. It handles video editing, 3D rendering, and modern games at ultra settings without breaking a sweat. The triple-fan cooling is super effective and whisper quiet — even under heavy load. Build quality is excellent, with a sturdy frame and tasteful RGB. It’s a big card, so make sure you have room, but the performance is absolutely worth it. Great balance of power and efficiency.

Performs as expected. I don’t push my over clocks but this card probably does better than a founders. Never had temps over 70; maybe because the v-ram limits performance more than the actually processor. Enjoyed the free nitro. Not having any problem pushing my system. I guess that’s why you buy nvidia and not amd cards.

What an amazing deal! I upgraded from a 4060 and i could not be happier with performance im seeing from this card! Plus the jaw dropping design of the card is a huge plus. Best buy always comes in clutch with solid shipping options and quality. I would recommend this card despite what some YouTubers say about it. This is also my first msi component in my pc. Installation was easy with no headache. Thank you best buy for another great purchase!

The RTX 5070 is a great graphics card for gaming and everyday use. It runs modern games smoothly with high graphics settings and has strong performance for tasks like video editing. The card stays cool, uses power efficiently, and supports features like ray tracing and DLSS for better visuals and performance. Overall, the RTX 5070 is a solid choice for anyone looking for fast performance at a reasonable price. And it’s also runs wayy better than the tech people who says don’t buy it it’s a waste of money then they say a later gen gpu runs better than it all that stuff is there option on the card. Rating: 9.5/10

Great card. No complaints on performance. The build quality leaves a bit to be desired but the frames are there. The cooler itself is overbuilt for the spec of the card and even after overclocking the card using nvidias auto overclocking tool at maximum power limits/voltages the card still stays sub 70 degrees even on max load. I upgraded from a 3070ti and the difference was night and day!

I brought this card to replace a Gigabyte RTX 5070 that died on the second startup. This card is great so far. I hope to be doing some gaming in 1440. It looks great in my case.

Honestly I’ve been pc gaming for a while and this is hands down the best 1440p gaming graphics card that I can personally say actually hands itself. The way it is able to just hand high to extreme settings in almost any game that I play and still reman in the well above the 120fps range in genuinely impressive.

This was a great entry level high end gaming card for me. I love to play solo story games or online coop with my girlfriend and now I can keep up with her because she has a better build than I do!

I really like the enhancing of DLSS and during intense gaming sessions temperatures remain stable and pretty low, overall its a great gpu, especially for higher end games the 12gb of VRAM are great for gaming and multi tasking.

Great GPU for the price, major upgrade from my 3070Ti. Honestly the RGB is a bit disappointing, since it's behind some plastic shroud on the fans and you can't take it off or make it brighter, if anything it could use more RGB. Performance wise everything is perfect.

Seriously this card packs-a-punch. I've been playing story games at 4k60fps and my competitive games like counter strike, rust etc. It runs super smooth.
