Perfect Second Monitor for Travel
I bought this for two purposes. First, to give myself a second screen while traveling. It is compact and light, perfect for that purpose. Second, to use as a monitor at a small workstation with only a compact PC and a scanner. It will sit on top of the PC without blocking the vent holes, and the screen is large enough to see the scans. The monitor was easy to set up and use. It had a good picture, with no defective pixels. MSI is a respected manufacturer, and this is a good product. A few months ago, I made the mistake of ordering one of those cheap 18" monitors that are merely a laptop screen with a thumbwheel and some electronics. It was miserable, and I sent it back up the river, after which the manufacturer offered me a free one if I would withdraw my review and write a positive one. I declined. This MSI Portable Monitor is a keeper.

A really cool mobile solution.
It can serve as a second monitor while I work, connect to my PC as a game information display while I play, and pair with my ITX build for gaming sessions at a friend’s place. Plus, the 15.6-inch size is just right—not too small. I absolutely love this product! A few years ago, I wouldn’t have imagined such a convenient solution for these use cases. The advantages of this product include its highly convenient stand, well-controlled weight, and a decent built-in speaker. I prefer carrying it along with an ITX build rather than a laptop when traveling for work. Considering its price and size, it’s almost the perfect choice.

Pleas grab one if you need to travel around
I absolutely love this monitor! It’s incredibly convenient. Since I frequently travel both domestically and internationally, I always bring it along. It’s super lightweight, and with just my laptop and this monitor, I can work seamlessly whether I’m in a hotel, at the airport, or on a train. While the audio isn’t its strongest feature, I simply use my laptop’s sound instead. The display is what truly matters to me, and for the price, it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended!
