It was time to retire my 2017 HP 17 laptop since it wouldn’t meet today’s tech and apps And became very slow. I was looking for a budget good entry level gaming pc with fast startup and app navigation. Let me tell you this GF63 exceeded my expectations . Plenty of storage and quick startup and apps with the SSD. The red lit keyboard is awesome. Huge upgrade from my old 17’ HP. Very simple to use and MSI center app is awesome to change pc setting and monitor its health. Plays Warzone and forza perfect. I totally recommend this laptop for someone looking for an entry level gaming budget laptop.

A solid choice for laptop gamers! I've had no big issues. I bought this along with a 16gb ram stick (because 8gb is not enough for most games). Taking off the back was a little difficult, but I got it without breaking anything. Moving files over from old laptop was easy with USB storage. A few things to note for future buyers: the keyboard is led back lit with red lights and there's no way to change that color, it has no micro SD card slot (very sad about that), it's battery runs out VERY quickly, but it charges decently fast. Overall, a very good pick if you're looking for an upgrade. If you already have a good gaming laptop, I'd suggest just saving for a desktop. I personally upgraded to this from a office laptop, so I was very happy to finally play games I've wanted for a while!

I love this everything about this laptop, black and red design and how the keyboad glows. I use it for work, school, watching paramount & other streaming apps, modern gaming & for emulating the classics. I recommend it if you really want an all-around PC under $700 it also comes with gamepass and antivirus software

Gaming laptops are generally bulky and heavy laptops but NOT this one. This is a very portable (not the lightest but still good) laptop offering balanced CPU / GPU power. Sure it's not the latest or have the greatest graphics but then you're paying less than $500. For that price, this is a very good value laptop that can handle all average daily tasks, many games and some basic graphics or media work. The keyboard is nice and properly sized for my large fingers. It's much easier and a pleasure typing. I do wish the trackpad was slightly larger but it works well. I most often use external mouse anyway. 720p camera is acceptable. It has plenty of built-in USB ports for connectivity, wifi/BT works well. Overall a very good first gaming laptop for value conscious folks. It weighs just barely above 4lbs. Look and feel is great also, see pictures.

This laptop works incredibly well. It runs everything I wanted to run on it, and doesn’t bog down at all when running multiple programs. I may upgrade the ram at some point, but with upgradable ram (that I believe doesn’t void the warranty if Best Buy does it) you can’t go wrong. On top of it all it’s in a very well made exterior that easily cleans and presumably will stay looking good for a long time.

I had this laptop for almost 2 years now and would say that it is beginner friendly, I would say the cons are that the battery life doesn’t really last and it makes noise but it doesn’t really bother me. I love this laptop because it can run red dead redemption 2, gta, even some emulators. Lastly the laptop is very durable like i dropped this laptop so many times and it still running like nothing happened

Honestly one of the best laptops I've had! I'm a college student so battery life is really big for me, but I also love to game, and this meets all my needs. This laptop plays Baldur's Gate 3 with good graphics and lasts during a school day for all my classes. Definitely worth it!

I use this laptop for dual purpose. It’s great for class projects and gaming on the side. Microsoft office works flawlessly as well as steam. I could not have chose a better product. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Most of the games runs decent, but I don't know if it's good or bad that the fan makes a lot of noise when running a game, since I know that the heat is being expelled, but at the same time I don't know if it's good that all that heat is being generated
