Musynx is one of the last of it's kind: a rhythm game with key-toned notes. That is to say, when you hit a note it doesn't just play a canned sound, but actually plays an instrument, or a synth, or even backing vocals! However, the game it's in is decidedly mediocre. Music selection is good, but menus are poor. Speed of the track is customizable, but you have to do so for every song manually. There is a variety of backgrounds to play on, but you can't choose on your own accord (have read that this is to be patched in, but don't know when) and some are awfully bright and hard to play on. If you like Rhythm games, Musynx is certainly not a bad buy, but until quality of life patches arrive -- and it's already been three months since release, so we may be waiting a while --.I can't really recommend it.

I really enjoy rhythm games and so when I saw this game was coming to the Switch I had to get it. While playing sometimes I can get confused with the Rhythem of the song if I have never heard the song before, but I eventually get it. Sometimes the touch function does not work like it should, but overall the game is solid. I do have motion sickness so I can't play it for very long, but when I do play it I have a blast. There are a lot of tracks to play and new content will be added in future updates! Overall a super awesome rhythm game to add to any Switch collection!

I am happy with the game but many may be disappointed. The game includes a ton of songs but there is not a lot of variation in the music styles. It has a few really great 8-Bit style songs. It really lacks in the ability to sort the songs or even mark favorites. Adding some sort of system to manage the music would be a huge improvement to the game. The gameplay is basic but offers multiple settings that allow you to slowly increase the difficulty. If you are looking for a new music game concept or don't like the typical Japanese synth music then you will want to pass on this. If you're just looking for a new selection of songs to tap along with then it is worth the price.

This game is very unique in their music choices and play style. The music is mainly C-Pop. Chinese pop, rap, electro, classical etc it's got just about every genre but sung in Chinese. Theres a song for everyone! While the game was okay to play in docked mode. It truly shines in handheld mode and is a game that I mainly ever only play in handheld mode. Tapping the keys are way better and more effeiencent as well as easier. I really recommend this game for anyone who likes rhythm games.

I’ll admit that I love rhythm games even though I’m not god like by any means. Normal difficulty is as far as my skills takes me. Musynx was not on my radar until I came across an article showing what this game is all about. Plus the copies that are released have an LE cover than the 2nd run that will come out. So I had to pre order for that exclusivity. If your into music games in general or are interested I’d give this a look.

Excellent release! As a fan of rhythm games this one is top notch! A wide selection of music to choose from along with promised free DLC songs later on. What else can one ask for? OH! How about options to use either touch controls or joy con or pro controller! A must own for any rhythm fan!

MUSYNX is a wonderful rhythm-based game for your Nintendo Switch. The soundtrack is very catchy. I purchased this for collecting purposes. The PS4/PS Vita variants of the game are being produced by Limited Run Games, and I'm curious that this Switch version might be limited in production numbers as well.

This rhythm music game for Switch is a must for fans of the genre. If you like Beatmania, DDR, DJMAX, Hatsune Miku Project Diva...you will be right at home. My only gripe is the lack of shuffle options and no concept of completion totals etc
