Good design. The magsafe connection good, but if not perfect can be moved very easily. The unit itself is slow. It charges slow (went from 3% to 75% in about 2 1/2 hours-iphone 12 max) and gets charged slow. I haven't tried it on other more powerful bricks so charging could be fast. Wish it had a row of lights or something to show the amount of charge in the battery- a single color light is only thing that shows it is connected, it is charging, and it is on or off. The price was not bad, not great but in the long run worth it for me. I have it if I need it.

I bought this because my iPhone was only able to charge via MagSafe. I don't even like MagSafe, but I needed some insurance that I could use my phone during the time it took to get repair parts in at the Apple store. It does what it says it does. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge it. There's no indication that a USB-C to USB-C would charge it faster; that would be nice to know. PROTIP: I was going to by a Apple Branded battery pack, but I believe (do your own research) that the apple back only charges at a rate of 7.5W....as does this; so this was a no-brainer to by on clearance. This magnet is not very strong; that doesn't bother me- but know that going in. If you have a good MagSafe case you will be find. For perspective- a true MagSafe charger from apple will in fact charge through many non MagSafe cases- such as an otter box defender. It's wonky, but it will work. With this- not so much. I tried to charge through a defender case and it won't register at all. Not a problem; just had to take the case off. FYI
