N.W.A - Greatest Hits - VINYL LP

N.W.A.'s Greatest Hits is a greatest hits album originally released on July 2, 1996. The re-released version contains two bonus tracks by the reunited group. The track InchChin CheckInch was recorded by Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and Snoop Dogg under the N.W.A name for the soundtrack of Next Friday. InchHelloInch first appeared on Ice Cube's sixth studio album War & Peace - Volume 2 (The Peace Disc) and featured Dr. Dre & MC Ren.N.W.A.'s career isn't necessarily one that lends itself well to anthologies. Though they had important singles, especially in the underground hip-hop community in the late '80s, they never received any support from radio or MTV, which meant they never had any official Inchhits.Inch Instead, their albums were more important, popular, and influential, than their singles, even if individual tracks - InchF**k tha Police, Inch InchStraight Outta Compton, Inch InchGangsta Gangsta, Inch InchExpress YourselfInch - became the focus of attention. And, if you notice, all those songs were from Straight Outta Compton the only good album the group ever made. Album Tracks 1. Live Intro (1989) 2. Arrested (Insert) 3. Gangsta Gangsta 4. F* Tha Police (Insert) 5. F* Tha Police 6. Compton's in the House (Live) 1. Break Out (Insert) 2. Straight Outta Compton (Extended Mix) 3. If It Ain't Ruff 4. Real Niggaz 5. I Ain't Tha 1 1. Alwayz Into Somethin' 2. Don't Drink That Wine 3. Just Don't Bite It 4. Cash Money (Insert) 5. Express Yourself (Remix) 1. 100 Miles and Runnin' 2. A B* Iz a B* 3. Real Niggaz Don't Die 4. Chin Check 5. Hello

Digable Planets - Reachin - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Digable Planets deliberately disavowed the toughness of hip-hop culture the trio's leader called himself Butterfly, his foil Ladybug purred like Eartha Kitt and they produced hooks out of lines such as InchWe're just babies, manInch. Despite occasional flashes of sorrow (like the pro-choice recitation InchLa Femme FetalInch), the group is happy and laid back on this debut, with tracks made out of old jazz records and finger-snaps, and words that draw on 50s hipster slang. Reachin' spawned the Grammy-winning single InchRebirth Of Slick (Cool Like Dat)Inch, and after this album, their joyous BlueNote-and-black-lights bounce lost some of it's novelty. -Douglas Wolk Album Tracks 1. It's Good to Be Here 2. Pacifics (From the Soundtrack to the Motion Picture 'N.Y. Is Red Hot') 3. Where I'm from 4. What Cool Breezes Do 5. Time & Space (A New Refutation of) 6. Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat) 7. Last of the Spiddyocks 8. Jimmi Diggin Cats 9. La Femme Fetal 10. Escapism (Gettin' Free) 11. Appointment at the Fat Clinic 12. Nickel Bags 13. Swoon Units 14. Jungle - Volcano - VINYL LP
5.0(2)

Vinyl LP pressing. 2023 . 'Volcano' follows Jungle's previous album 'Loving In Stereo', which proved to be a landmark moment for the acclaimed UK duo. It achieved their highest domestic UK chart position to date debuting at #3, while also achieving their best ever album chart positions in key international territories such as Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands; and in the US it catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Dance Albums chart which led to major Arena shows as guests to Billie Eilish. The free-spirited energy that runs right through 'Volcano' reflects how organically it came together. J and T had written most of the record on tour before starting the recording process while staying in an Airbnb in Los Angeles. It was later completed back home in London at their favourite location, Studio B at Metropolis Studios. This time around, the duo wanted to include a wider variety of voices within the album. In addition to Erick The Architect, they reunited with Bas (who previously featured on the 'Loving In Stereo' single 'Romeo') for 'Pretty Little Thing', as well as calling on talents in the shape of Roots Manuva, Channel Tres and JNR Williams. Album Tracks 1. Us Against the World 2. Holding on 3. Candle Flame 4. Dominoes 5. I've Been in Love 6. Back on 74 7. You Ain't No Celebrity 8. Coming Back 9. Don't Play 10. Every Night 11. Problemz 12. Good at Breaking Heart 13. Palm Trees 14. Pretty Little Thing
