The NAC CD 538 is awesome. The highs and lows are separate in sound. The bass response is superb as is the midrange. My TRIANGLE speakers play exactly what the 538 is producing. Its new design exceeds that of my Sim Audio Moon CD .5 - and that says it all. The NAD fits within the synergy of my system, Hat's off to NAD - a fine performer.

I had recently upgraded my amplifier and speakers. After having bought a turntable, I decided that I should upgrade my cd player as well. All my old gear was over 30 years old. This came recommended in various online review sites and was easily attainable. At Best Buy I ordered it online and it arrived quickly. It's very simple to set up, very simple to operate and worked really well with my new set up. I get great sound out of this and I'm really bringing CD's back into my music rotation.
