I bought these to replace a set of JBL Live 770nc. The performance upgrade is undeniable. These headphones have all of the new features a good set of headphones should alongside improved hardware performance. From what I understand they have all of the performance features Sony has at a reasonable price. For me it was between these and the Sony xm6. I didn't like the look of the Sony headphones, they looks bulky. They have the same improved Bluetooth connection with the LDAC technology and improved performance with lower power consumption. Also from my understanding they have nearly the same range of frequency response. So far the only downside I'm experiencing is a tendency to slip off my head while laying down.
