So with the third film coming out soon, my nephew and I began watching the episodes on Netflix. As we were watching, we noticed they kept referencing story lines and characters that were not in the films. After doing some research , I found that there was two seasons (4 DVD sets) that aired on TV. Watching these cleared up those questions and it was quite enjoyable to watch for my nephew who is 7. Heck even me in my late 20s I'll admit I like it a lot too.

More great adventures with the dragons of How To Train Your Dragon movies. These are tv episodes of the dragons and their trainers. Lots of fun and adventure.

Whenever they bring the DVDs out for this series I will buy it. I love watching the episodes over and over. I love the movies too. I will be sad when they end it.

Bought this for my class of 5th graders to watch at the end of the day as they wait for bus dismissal. Some like it, some don't,, the big takeaway is that they got sick of hearing the character name "Fish legs". Seems like those words are heard at least 20 times an episode. The animation is colorful, the dragons are well done, and at least they got the same actor to voice "Hiccup". The plot lines are kinda lame, but to maybe a kid under the age of 9, it's OK.

We love Dreamworks Dragons! IF you're expecting the same animation quality as the movies, it's not quite as detailed. The stories, geared for a half hour show (with the occasional two-parter), are necessarily more simply drawn than either movie, but each one has some excellent character development to it. If you're a fan of the movies, the TV series is definitely worthwhile.

This is a fine example of great storytelling and making do with what main cast was affordable and giving us a good product. Not as good as the two movies found at the price guarantee lowest here on Best Buy.com and I really feel that Netflix put up more money than Cartoon Network did as that series is the best of the three but if you're a Dragons fan like me don't pass this by. Recommend for ages 6+ to grasp fantasy violence and plot points.

If you like the 'How to Train a Dragon' movies, you really enjoy this. We originally bought this series to watch with our younger children, but once it started playing the whole family (big kids included) ended up snuggled on the couch watching it too! Make some party popcorn, and make a night of it!

This is a really good show with great characters and good storylines. This show leaves you wanting more because its soo good and takes place between both of the movies that have came out so it shows you how they have come to be dragon trainers. I would definitely recommend this to every family.

great series of episodes (2 separate DVDs) that supposedly come after the Riders of Berk 2-DVD series and the original movie. Not quite as good as Netflix's Race to the Edge series, but still great for any fan of the storyline. Whole family enjoys it.

I love this series because all the shows have a moral. My kids like them because it's funny and has dragons. And the quality of the artwork is amazing for a kids TV show. I'd recommend any of the "How to Train Your Dragon" shows.

This show is still great, with good story lines, exciting actions, and great characters. This show, surprisingly, never disappoints! Hope this series is able to keep up the good work for a few more seasons. Highly recommended.

This is a show that takes place between the first and the second How to Train Your Dragon movies. It is not quite as spectacular as the movies but I still like it and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the movies.

My son loves the How to Train your Dragon series of TV shows and movies. This is part one of the second season TV show. The movies are 20 minutes long and all are great fun. We own them all and watch them often.
