This was the perfect choice for my Jeeping excursions. Waterproof and tough. I didn't want a CB radio in my way all of the time when I'm not using it. This one fits nicely in the glove compartment and does a great job.

the weather channel is an important feature it works very well also the emergency channel we would not sail with out it also the batteries last a long time

Great VHF Radio for kayaking

I needed a VHF marine radio to use while kayaking. This radio has all the features I need such as WX radio, 3 power settings, waterproof and it floats. Size is perfect for kayaking.

MARINE RELATED USE ONLY - NOT FRS/GMRS

For Marine use only, not for use as family type radios and cannot communicate with FRS/GMRS Radios. Work great for marine related use but illegal to use for other purposes. Not for personal, business, hiking, camping, etc, For marine use works good but cannot use for non marine use
