As a former college runner, I’ve used a lot of GPS watches, and this Garmin is outstanding. It’s accurate, comfortable, and packed with features that work just as well for beginners as experienced runners. Training metrics are easy to understand without being overwhelming, and the battery life is excellent. Great value and a solid choice for any level of runner.

Good watch. Battery recharges pretty quick and it last a long time. It has a lot of functions and it tracks my workouts pretty well. I only wish it was a little more rugged. (Cool fact: You can change the display!)

The Garmin Forerunner 265 is a game-changer. The AMOLED display is bright and clear, GPS is super accurate, and the battery life is impressive even with daily workouts. I love the Training Readiness feature and how well it tracks everything from runs to strength training. It’s lightweight, stylish, and syncs seamlessly with the Garmin app. Perfect for serious runners or anyone wanting to stay on top of their fitness.

Long lasting, super useful for runs and other work outs! I had an apple watch previously, and i do miss the texts and calls. But if thats not a big problem its so worth it! (You can receive texts but not respond) loove the charge on it, last me about 11-12 days before i need to charge it, and it charges in 20ish minutes probably even less lol You can take the time to really get to know the watch, but i just use the bare minimum

Perfect watch for runners! Very accurate, very light and easy to navigate. Perfect size for my wrist It’s got good battery life around 12 days.

Switched over from an Apple Watch 9 since I started running and hiking more. THE BATTERY LIFE IS THE BEST THING- lasts up to a week for me. I can say this is definitely a fitness watch, not so much a smart watch—but that’s what I wanted! I hated being so connected to my phone and always being able to check texts and get phone notifications on my wrist, I felt so attached. But I’ve turned off the settings to notify my on text messages (I keep calls on) but love that I don’t feel addicted to my smart watch. Also love the running features, and garmin allows you to check your pace in the moment, and not the average lap pace. I’ve been using the training programs (included for free) and like that over having to pay for apps like Runna. Connects seamlessly with Strava (and apple fitness). Ive banged it against the wall at the gym more than once and expected a scratch on the screen or even the plastic but I don’t seem to see anything!! Definitely not as cute and aesthetically pleasing as an Apple Watch but if you’re looking for a true fitness watch, the forerunner 265 is great!

I got this watch to mainly track my crappy sleep, it does the trick for sure. I have been getting better sleep than usual with the information it provides. I also use it at the gym with my workouts. I have my workouts programmed on the watch with each set, reps and even the rest times to keep me on a good pace. I am sure it does more than I know and I am sure I will learn over time all it offers. One thing I do love is all the different things I can have on the face at once. I have the weather, elevation, heart rate, steps, sun set time, battery life and time. It is my first ever watch like this and do not regret the purchase. It’s cool also tracking my hikes and walks with the dog.

Great watch, battery life is excellent only charge about once per week. Has helped me out tremendously during my runs.

Made the switch from Apple to Garmin after having an Apple Watch for YEARS. Getting into running, I’ve loved it. Battery life is amazing, wear it all day and overnight to get sleep coaching, training readiness, and the big screen is amazing for running. Tons of ways to customize it as well. Only complaint is it is definitely not as user friendly compared to an Apple Watch, but so manageable (just not as easy to customize screens). Recommend to anyone who is interested in having a watch for daily wellness.

I bought my Garmin about a month ago, and it has been great! Battery life is as promised, and I’ve been loving the sleep feature. I don’t notice it at all at night! I had been ready to get rid of my Apple Watch and this has been amazing. I use it mostly for my runs and am happy to not be receiving all of the Apple notifications I was getting on my previous watch. This is a great health and workout focused watch. Highly recommend!

Excellent choice of a fitness watch for beginner to intermediate runners. 14 day battery life is accurate in normal watch mode. If you run 3-4 times a week it will need to be charged once a week. Size is slightly larger than previous Apple Watch but I like that I don’t bump the buttons due to the curved design. The OLED screen is worth it. Sleep tracking relies on inputs of your sleep times. I find it doesn’t naturally adjust well if you sleep more or less than the inputted times.

This watch is absolutely tremendous. I seldomly take it off. The battery life is fantastic, sleep tracking is great, Heart rate tracking and exercise tracking to include my workouts is incredible. Amazing, amazing purchase!

I have had it for a month now and love it. It took a bit more than an Apple Watch to set up but it’s great. It seems to track steps and heart rate better than a standard IPhone. They make tracking workout way easier too. The battery last two weeks on one charge.

It is not my watch but, for my boyfriend he loves seeing his sleep pattern as well being able to customize his wallpaper to see his heart rate and steps throughout the day. Perfect for someone who’s always on the go!

I've been an Apple user for a long time; however as I train for my first and hopefully many marathons, it was to try a Garmin so I did. I was going to get the basis 165 Forerunner but decided on the 265 after doing some comparison and research. I can honestly say, I'm still getting use to it but it was WORTH the change. I'm happy I invested in the Forerunner 265.

So I bout this for my fit journey. Battery life is good. I can go for a week without charging it. I did put it on sleep mode. Where the watch goes on battery saving mode. If it’s on saving battery mode probably can go over a week. I say to watch a video on how to use the garmin . So you can understand everything that is on there. I do love my watch. Like I said using it for my fitness journey.

I replaced my AppleWatch with this one and have no regrets. I like the extra features for running workouts and the health measurements.
