I have a number of nanoleaf products, including two of the previous 250 count holiday lights. I purchased one of these new 300 count holiday lights. The paired easily to the rest of my nanoleaf devices, the firmware update was completed, and we installed them on one of my 3 trees. They sync'd with Razer Synapse and i love them.

The lights look great, they are easy to use, and the app have different seasonal themes you can easily use.

[Employee of bestbuy] Usually I love Nanoleaf products but I had nothing but issues with these lights. When I got them the first day they were great! But not even the next day they no longer connected to my WiFi. I had to physically unplug and plug it back in to reconnect to my WiFi but even that was a temporary fix for a few hours if I’m lucky. No software update fixed it and I had to return it. I would look at twinkly for smart Christmas lights. Only good side was how easy it was to control it and set it up but that was the only good thing about these lights.

Hey, we are sorry that our Nanoleaf Matter Smart Holiday String Lights did not meet your expectations. They were designed to be used with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Matter over Wi-Fi for a more seamless connection. However, it requires a Matter-compatible smart home hub and iOS/tvOS 16.5+ or Android OS 8.1+ to connect to a smart home ecosystem. Were you able to report this encountered connection problems with our support team yet? We want to assure you that we are constantly working on improving the system's connectivity to provide a seamless experience. Please know that we are here to help and would appreciate the opportunity to assist you with any issues you may be facing. Kindly reach out to our customer support team at [email protected] and we will do our best to resolve the issue promptly. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the chance to make things right for you.

These are basically the same as last year’s. No Thread and I doubt they will connect any better to Apple Home. Customer support was MIA.
