I got it to use in my classroom of 5 yr olds. They love it, and can't wait to sing along with our learning songs. The only con is they need to have the mic on top of their lips to really hear their voices, which is not good for germ phobs like me. Great mic for the price and my particular use, but I wouldn't purchase if looking for one that is more sensitive to sound.
