Q: Do you need internet to play this game?
A: No, you don't need an internet connection to play NFS: Heat, however, you will be limited to single player mode. There's no multiplayer support on a single console, much like most PS4 games. With internet, you can play online against other players which gives you a percentage bonus in experience and money when you place in competitions. That allows you to advance faster and earn more money (which you need to purchase upgrades for your cars.)
