Producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and vocalist Devonte Hynes returns with his fourth album as Blood Orange entitled Negro Swan. Raised in England, Hynes started out as a teenage punk in the UK band Test Icicles before releasing two orchestral acoustic pop records as Lightspeed Champion. After recording their second album, Strange Trails, in 2014, and releasing it in early 2015, the band would tour heavily in support of it's in the next few years. This exposure would eventually lead to the band having one of their songs, InchThe Night We MetInch, be used in the Netflix show 13 Reasons Why, in turn leading to the song breaking into the Billboard US all- Hot 100 chart at number 84.
