Using this switch to segregate my network was relatively easy. Was able to split my network into a private, IoT, and a public network. Devices that supported VTAG were able to be split into there corresponding network and stay within the VLAN. The 2 SFP ports are great to be able to grow the network or get high speed connection to a server. The SFP ports are capped at 1Gps but that should be plenty powerful enough for a SOHO use that this is intended for. Managing the switch was intuitive. Available as a mobile app or through the cloud portal, the management suite is easy to understnad. It was decently responsive as well. This management tho requires a subscription, but for a SOHO application this is too be expected. There is both a free/premium version of the INSIGHT that netgear offers to manage their switches. One of my favorite features is you can enable/disable traffic per port. This is good to quickly kill a VLAN if you notice anything suspicious happening. Being aware that you will need a subscription to get the most out of the switch, it delivers a robust feature set for a SOHO application. I have been quite happy with how I was able to split my network out into separate VLANS for easy management.
