This router is extremely easy to set up. Very user friendly while still having all the controls, bells, and whistles you need to ensure your home network is secure. Easily allowed me to set up the two different groups PLUS a guest account without any headaches whatsoever. We live in a 2200 square ft home and the coverage is phenomenal. Has been very reliable too.

So far so good. Able to keep up with everything we have going at once. 4 I phones and Apple TV sometimes both at the same time and a teenager on a laptop and does not slow things down much. Range is good. We have a 1150sq ft home and we have it central in our basement. See photo. The difference in speeds is from th normal to the 5G line.

We bought the Netgear 600 version two years ago but since then there have been many more devices added to our system and the tv was having issues. I like the fact that the Netgear 1600 is tall and not wide and flat like most others because the dest that it is on is small and this one does not take up as much room. Other features are that it hides the wires better, it is easy to set up and it looks great!

Easy to set up and install. More than adequate performance.

The NETGEAR - Wireless-AC Dual-Band Gigabit Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch is a great value. The speed of the 5G option is great and the set-up was very straight forward.

This is a great Wireless router for multi-streams, a marked improvement to my old N+ router. It should be OK for the next couple of years. The price is good for the performance. I like the sleek look. The set-up and the software are easy. My only critic would be that there are not enough wired ports (4).

First, I purchased a Belkin (don't ever do that) and was completely dissatisfied.. Needed a stronger signal, with more bandwidth and throughput.. This device delivered what I needed flawlessly. No connectivity issues, and the range was about 100ft maximum (completely slow speed but impressive nonetheless) This device, if you have minor router experience, was easy to average to set up and tweak to get your maximum desired output. If you have no networking experience, you may want to ask for help.

Upgraded from the ATT Uverse residential gateway built in b/g router to this AC router. Was simple enough to put the Uverse router into modem mode and use this as the WIFI router. I have notice much better speed for devices that support n networking and have much better range in my home. AC is the latest standard and at this price, the performance increase is great. Streaming and large file copy on my home network has been much faster as well.

I've upgraded from a Netgear Wireless N to Netgear Wireless AC. This is a beast of a router. Easy to set up. There is advanced configuration for advanced users, but it's not really needed. You can do everything with the easy setup. There are a couple things within Advanced you can do which is easy to me, but for others, you may need some guidance. At first with the initial setup, the connection was very wonky. Make sure to reboot the modem and router after the setup. I haven't had to do anything to the router. Never had to reboot it once since setup. Pair this up with a wireless N or AC adapter and you're good to go! Make sure you enable 5GHZ and connect to that if you have at least a Wireless N, but I recommend getting a Wireless AC adapter if you don't. Also, keep in mind, this all depends on your data plan with your ISP. If you're paying for a 20Mbps down, you're getting what you pay for.

This is a solid router which performs diligently even when you attach several devices to it. I have an Xbox One and a PS4 which I have connected to the router via Ethernet cables and the online play is sublime. Additionally my laptop is connected via Wi-Fi along with my mobile phone. And still there are no speed or lags to speak of. Even the design is well thought out since my 50 in TV takes almost all the space on the TV cabinet, and the router can be installed right behind it and it takes up no space at all cause of its slim design. From all casual aspects this device is pretty good. My only gripe is that at its current price point, it seems a bit pricy. Fortunately Best Buy price matched it for me so I got a pretty good deal.

Our router before this one kept cutting out the Internet. This one has been very reliable even with many devices connected and somehow seems to give WiFi speeds faster than a direct line to the modem. It is decently compact, very easy to set up and comes with nice bonus features such as content filtering service. It carries good range through my house. No complaints whatsoever.

Setup was a snap right out of the box, range of broadcast is decent. i live in a two story and the signal reaches upstairs without an issue. No noticible speed increase vs my older router but speed tests do show an increase. If you are lloking form an easy to set up DocSis 3 router, this is a good affordable solution

I like the looks of this it fits in to any decor. Since this is a product that is in a room where it is seen often it blends in. The speed is fast for having up to 9 electronics using it at one time. I like that there is a guest secure log in too. This makes it easier and secure for guess without compromising the security of my computer and tablet. I have teenagers whose friends are always wanting to connect their cell phones to the wifi. This way they can. I only gave it a 4 due to the fact that set up was a little confusing when making it a secure set up.

This is the fastest router I have ever owned! The connection speed with all my devices is extremely fast! I can use my Apple TV, desktop computer, laptop computer, iPhone, and wifi enabled TV all at the same time without any delays or freezes. It was really easy to set up, just read the instructions and you'll be fine. Definitely a great product!

I swapped out this router for my mother in laws 6 year old router. The speed increase was great and the range is also very good. Easy to setup and she hasn't had any issues with the operation.

We finally had to replace a router of 6 years of age and didn't know what to get to replace it. We figured with everything having wifi built into them we'd need a better router to support all of our devices. This router did not disappoint. It can hold up to 10 devices on it at once with no slow down and can broadcast 2 different bands. It's nice to have a band for 5g enabled phones when friends and family are our and it won't slow down the streaming. The strength varies throughout the house, ie: The computer in the next room has decent signal while the laptop in the basement below the router has excellent signal quality. Overall it's a great router for what we need it for.

Great router. Has both 2.4G and 5G. Strong signal (5 full bars) throughout 3000 sq. ft. Condo. 2 iPhones, an iPad, a PC, and a laptop on my network. Laptop is 40 feet away downstairs, receiving signal through 2 walls and ceiling and gets full signal from router. I have cable service with 50 Mbps download and upload speeds. Consistently high speed tests on all devises throughout house in 42 to 54 Mbps range. Great wireless router for larger homes with multiple devices. Very satisfied

Was looking for an AC router to boost the throughput to my 4K Smart TV - and boost connectivity for the whole home... winner. For the price, this router is easy to set up, has a USB port so I can centralize a backup drive and it has outstanding speed on the 5Ghz channel. The 2.4 Ghz channel is also fast and now that I can divide up my devices on multiple channels, there's less lag. I have all the phones on the 2.4Ghz and the TVs and PCs on the 5Ghz. Even has handy 'guest' channels for each so anyone entering the home can have internet without allowing them access to our private home network.
