I bought this router to replace my aging Netgear N600. This router has exceeded my expectations in every single way! -I has just silly fast data transfer rates. -The range is awesome, It reaches everywhere in my house, and downstairs into my parking garage, and it covers a good share of my yard outside. -Setup was super easy, and the "Nighthawk app" makes control effortless. -At any given time there are 7-8 devices running through this router (2 smart TV's, 3 phones, 3 tablets, 3 laptops, wireless printer, 2 Roku's, and several gaming consoles)...I have NEVER come even close to choking the performance of this router. -And in my opinion, this thing just looks cool too. The ONLY negative that some may find is, it's a pretty big piece of hardware, I don't mind it at all, but if your going for the "minimalist" look, you'll have to find a way to hide it...

I had a combo cable modem/router I was renting from Mediacom that was constantly needing to be reset. I decided to purchase my own. Went to my local Best Buy and after a discussion about my issues and needs with the associate I decided to go with a separate modem and router and this is the one she recommended. Using the app on my iPhone the set up was a breeze. We have 4 TV's that we stream on as well as 2 phones and an iPad. This router is handling all of them with ease! We have a 1500 sq ft house and this is located in the back bedroom. the 2.5 gHz band covers out to the front porch. The 5G is super fast but the signal gets low in the dining room in the front of the house but works great in all the areas we need it. I also purchased the defender software the protect against malware and hacking and it is worth the peace of mind. I have tested my internet speed and it is a VERY fast 130 Mbps upload and 16 download. I am very pleased with this router and highly recommend!

I got this to upgrade my five year old Linksys router. I put it into an 1100 square foot brick ranch. I had just upgraded my internet speed to 500mb/sec. It made everything in my house that runs on Wi-Fi a ton faster / smoother. My smart TV, Roku, iPhone, iPad, Mac mini, MacBook, and four security camera all run a ton smoother. I used the app to change the network name and pass, so that all the devices automatically connected to the new router. Very easy setup using the app (you install the app) and my iPhone. It was on sale for like $110, which made the purchase even better. I am super happy with this Wi-Fi router. Worth every penny.

I had to replace a 5 year old Netgear router that was on 24/7 all that time and developed a problem with the WiFi section. Sometimes I feel like Best Buy salespeople are working on commission. The salesman really tried to push me into either of two more expensive selections because of their (undefined) superiority. I bought Netgear because I have had three Netgear routers and they have all given me good service. I bought this model because of the "beam forming" connection it supposedly makes. The router is located in the extreme end of our house and I had problems, sometimes, connecting WiFi to it from the opposite end of the house. I guess the beam forming works because I get a good, reliable connection now. I've had zero problems with it and installation was as near to automatic as you could expect. I'm glad I bought this model. The only, very minor, negative comment I have is that the lights on it are too bright. It lights up the room too much at night when all the room lights are turned off.

I bought this as an upgrade from a router that was several years old, and I'm very satisfied with it! Much stronger signal that reaches areas of my house that were spotty before. Easy setup and no issues after a couple years of use. If you're being indecisive like me, this is your sign to just buy it!

Second one of these routers. Both purchased to replace dead or dying routers a few years apart. One for myself one for my parents. First one set up on At&T network after there modem/router, second one on a Century Link network. DSL modem set to bypass mode and router takes care of logging into Century Link. No problems with WIFI configuration or performance. I setup routers by logging into web address and changing systems to match existing network. Using port forward, static routing and NAS drive features. Still more things I want to set up on a rainy/snow day. Liked the feature to turn off all the status LED's except for power. That one can't be turned off. Also makes a good night light if LED's are left on and set to not flash. Would purchase again or what ever the current model is.

Love my new router! The range is awesome! I can even pick up a signal at my neighbors house across the street. Easy to install, love the user ID & password being on the router itself, makes it easier for my family to use. So glad I spent a little more this time on a router that has a greater range & with more device capacity. I hope this one will last us for a while! Thanks Best Buy for another great product & for having the most helpful, knowledgeable employees to help me in the store when I needed them.

Purchased this router to serve as my wireless access point on my existing home network. I setup pfSense virtually using Windows Server 2019 hypervisor on one of my Dell R710 Poweredge rack mount server and set this router up as just an access point for all of my wireless devices. Very happy with the performance and range this router provides.

This router is worth it. Very recently did I change my connection to 125 mbps and have been using my 6 year old router (had to even use ethernet cables to get that speed on my pcs). When I used this router, the speed was excellent as well as the range! I have attached the pictures of internetspeed test before with the old router as well as with the new router to let you decide on how the difference was in speed! Range is good.

This is #1 Router. It's cover my 3 story house. I connected 12 devices with no problem. Powerful speed 230g .Way Much better then wireless Router. I recommend it to friends and family.

Recently bought a new Motorola Asis modem, and I bought this router to go along with it. I live in a 3800sq ft home no dead spots. Great router.

Netgear has many network products. They produce very good routers. The router was easy to setup and has no maintenance issue.

I had a Linksys N series router that, although I’d performed all of the suggested security updates I suspected had been hacked as the modem showed traffic even with all of our wireless devices turned off, I went to Best Buy to purchase another Linksys router but the team member helping me handed me what I thought was a Linksys router and, shame on me, I didn’t look at the box until I was home. Since I had purchased the router and it was equivalent to what I was looking for, I chose to keep it. The Netgear router was easy to set up and has flawlessly operated all of our devises at the same time. I’m not a gamer, so I don’t know whether or not it has the band width to support heavy gaming but I suspect it would. It also stopped the modem traffic that I was seeing.

Love this router! This is the bedt router so far ive used cisco in the past it was just ok this thing is fabulous and fast covers all the dead spots !

I just replaced my old router, which basically worked lousy even when it was new. Constantly resetting it. The NetGear AC1750 i bought works like a dream. What a difference in speed and i have basically not had to reset it even after a months use. Setup took about 35 minutes because i did it through my Iphone, which, wait for it, wait for it, HAD NO WifI at the time because my old router finally bit the dust. One i loaded the APP it was easy. This model was recommended to me by a friend, and i would not hesitate to do the same.

After trying so many routers thru the years, I finally found the right one, and I and all my family is so happy with it, no problems streaming movies, uploading files, checking emails and Facebook, no problem now, and the best part is that we don't need a signal extender, this routers does everything, and the price was so right compare to other with the same strength but with a lot higher price. Excellent buy.
